Fabulous, heavenly yarn destination. Great for anyone with any level of interest in fiber. I am a knitter indie dyer, however I am now a spinner,Drop spindle and wheel. Girls at the guild have an endless source of information.

Handweavers & Spinners Guild of Victoria
Two stores on site- one selling hand woven yarns and knit/crochet/woven goods made by members and the other selling fibres, accessories, wheels, dyes and all kinds of useful products for yarn and fibre based crafts. Usually has a gallery display up, and a library open for members to borrow resources. Regularly hosts classes and interest group meetings eg spinning, hand dying, drop spindel etc, and over summer runs extensive Summer School classes. Calm environment and being staffed by volunteers you’re likely to encounter someone different each time which can be good or daunting. Always helpful and welcoming of new people though!
