Paperbark Retreat
It's hard to find words to describe the time I had at the lodge, It was everything I imagined and more! The hospitality I experienced was like no other, It was better then any hotel I have stayed in. This place is just amazing. If you like adventure, relaxing, good food, fishing and great company this is the place for you!

The best bug- free accommodation in Cooktown. Tony & Sue are great hosts, make delicious dinners & are very hospitable.

Such a tranquil and restful setting! Rooms are beautifully decorated, clean & comfortable overlooking the pool and tropical gardens! Sue and Tony are wonderful hosts!

Absolutely beautiful lush tropical gardens and pool area, just so relaxing and the fishing was great.The room was exquisite, so fresh and clean and very well appointed.Friendly hosts and delicious food.Will stay there next time I'm in the area.

What an absolute gem. The accommodation is fantastic and Tony and Sue go beyond to make you welcome. We stayed 2 nights but wished it was longer. We thoroughly recommend Paperbark Retreat
