Grovedale Medical Centre

My wife and visited the centre for our annual flue vaccination. Dr Wishart had an excellent manner and gave us some excellent advice on further vaccinations that we should consider.

My husband visited this doctor twice over 5 days for the same illness. He presented with swollen glands, headaches, exhaustion and a prominent rash on his face. He was also complaining of an itchy, swollen eye. Both times he was somewhat dismissed by the same doctor and prescribed antibiotics and some steroids for the rash. The doctor dismissed his complaints about his eye as she didn’t think she could see any redness. After the rash continued to get worse, he went to a different doctors clinic today and was diagnosed with Shingles. Had he have been treated properly in the first instance, he could have avoided such an irritating rash. The steroids the first doctor provided also weaken the immune system so could likely make the shingles rash worse. So disappointing for a paid clinic. No wonder there were so many appointments available!

I have been coming to Grovedale Medical Centre for more than 21yrs and each and every member of the practice - be it doctor, nurse or administrator - have treated me and my family with great care and dignity. They know me and they will do everything in their power to help me.

Fantastic as always. Couldn't ask for a better Dr than Dr Taylor. He takes the time to get to know his patients and listen to them. Highly recommend for a family practice.

The Doctors & nurses were all so kind & friendly. They were fantastic with my toddler & assisted him with his injections so well. He was made to feel happy & relaxed in their care. We’re happy & grateful :)

New doctor today as my doctor has retired. Very quiet and not much conversation. Nice enough. A few questions but rapport still to be built

From the receptionist to the physician, everyone here treats you with respect. It's a welcoming place. I distinctly get the impression that my whole health situation matters to these people.

Staff are super friendly and quick and easy appointments. Great medical centre. Have been with them for years. I would recommend to anyone

Generally I am very happy with this clinic, it's not often I go in. When i do i see Mohammed Asif, fantastic Dr.But I must say on my last visit i had to see another doctor ashe was booked. I could have just gone to a bulk billing clinic for a script for blood work.There was no physical examination for my symptoms, little communication, no blood pressure check or blood glucose which both only take approximately 30-90 seconds each.I am happy to get the letter to further testing, but for $85 you sort of expect a bit more while you're there onsite, or else if it was just a script I could have either seen Bulk bill or even those new online A.I Drs for scripts.Not sure if I got a day different, because in the past they take my blood pressure, heart rate and sugar levels right there when I ask for a quick health check along with advice and questions.
