Finally, somewhere in Australia that actually knows how to make chips! I'm originally from the North of England and find it baffling how chip shops here just buy in those dreadful factory made frozen chips which taste of absolutely nothing. How difficult is it to peel and cut some bloody potatoes?!So it was a really lovely surprise to find some properly made chips at this place. We've more or less given up on fish and chips (and curries, sorry Australia but your curry is dreadful) due to the woeful, tasteless chips served in most places.Loved these ones though, and the calamari was also great.The only thing that could have improved them would be to cook them in beef dripping; I can but dream...

Been coming here for a long time and its sad how this shop has gone from the best to the worst in Seaford. Went on Wed 28 Dec at lunchtime and despite only one other customer my order took 25 mins to complete. Needless to say it was completely overcooked(as usual). The fish was thin and dry and the chips were disgusting. No risk they were from the day before and were virtually burnt they were cooked for so long. Copius amounts of salt were added just to make sure it was inedible. If the shop owner reads these reviews please educate your staff or get people who know what they are doing. Your business is going down the drain...

Greasy old and new chips cooked together....stale oil...don't bother. Should got money back. Long wait....this is not top 10 but worst 10. Management take note . We are all saying same thing!!! Disgraceful.

Hadnt been here for a while and cant believe how far downhill this shop has gone. Used to be the best around, Our fish was hard and dry and the potato cakes were terrible and they served frozen chips. Maybe under new ownership? Long way to go to get it back to where it was.

Seems really strange a fish and chips shop across the road from the beach, during daylight savings closes at 7:30PM. Not only that, they turn customers away at 7:20PM, walk in customers must surely be the life of your business and you turn them away and 7:20PM? Owners must be millionaires and open the shop for fun, not for profit.

Worst chips ever had. Soggy and blunt taste chips which feels like mashed potatoes.. only good thing is people who work here is friendly.

Love the home made chips. The potato cakes are so delicious and the fish is always fresh! The staff are very friendly and polite as well. Great fish and chips shop.

Fish is usually very good here but the chips have gone down the toilet lately- always recooked and dry and very dark. Looks like sometimes they mix the old ones in with the fresh ones. The unfriendly girl who works at lunchtime always over cooks the food- the guys have a better idea of how long to cook it.
