Glenbrook Gorge
Nice walk, easy to get too. A couple of nice swimming spots again that are again easy to get too. Recommend this walk on a cool day with a breeze as it gets a bit humid near the creek. Quite unique views up and down the valley and is also accessible from the Jellybean Pool. Great walk recommend to anyone who wants a nice and easy walk

Glenbrook Gorge
Beautiful walk along the river. Be prepared to climb boulders and to do this for 5 hours if you start from Jellybean track all the way to the station. Kids had heaps of fun (even the 5 year old).

Glenbrook Gorge
Amazing spot for a nice swim. It's calm and the view is amazing. There is some bits where there is sand like a mini tiny beach ⛱ also the massive mountains surrounding it makes the whole thing astonishing! Be careful though when crossing to the other side as some rocks are slippery.

Was a beautiful place BUT there has been a tonne of graffiti and rubbish left by people throwing parties down there. Human waste along with discarded camp gear, lilos, broken glass. If you must visit, do it responsibly!!

Glenbrook gorge has some decent swimming holes but overall is fairly hard work. There are two formed paths from the car park. The first goes down to jelly bean pool. That is more picturesque and a great place for a swim. The other path meets the river more to the east. It's a nice walk but the swimming isn't so accommodating s Jellybean Pool. After that you are rock hopping for the rest of the way down the gorge and it is pretty darn rough till you reach the nepean river. From there a track heads North East up the nepean River to just below lapston railway station. I walked up the track to the railway station then across the ridge through Darks Common, and past the lapston rural fire service station, and back down to the NPWS Glenbrook visitor centre where I started. The round trip took be 2 hours but I was by myself and pushing fairly hard and did not stop for a break. I would say 3 hours would be more typical. For cheap people such as myself there is some free parking on the left just when you cross the railway line heading into the visitor centre. Ie just before you enter to the national park boundary. there are toilets and water at the visitor centre though is the said that is currently closed as of August 2020.Overall the gorge is pretty rough once you get past the end of the paths, but enjoyable if you like hopping over the rocks and enjoy wilder landscapes. Plus, you will mostly not be bothered by crowds, and you certainly get a good work out.

Beautiful place. It's so peaceful. You can come down here and stay as long as you want. The walk is medium grade, come prepared by wearing the right shoes and carry water. Highly recommend to try it once.

Glenbrook Gorge
Beautiful spot for hiking and picnic. A little steep (about 250 m descent) coming from the parking lot, hard work coming back up for those not used to it. After that, you'll have to find your way over rocks and boulders. Some spots can be used for swimming and wading. We hiked about 1.75 km before we turned back. Recommend going further towards the Nepean River.
