Atherton Tablelands Birdwatchers' Cabin Accommodation

Very nice little cabin nestled in amongst the forest and very good facilities. True to the name, we saw lots of birds here, incl. Victoria's Rifle Bird, Satin Bowerbird, King Parrots and numerous honey eaters and finches. Highlights of our stay were mum and bub tree kangaroo, as well as a spotlighting tour with leaf-tailed geckos. Christina and Thomas were fantastic hosts and we would thoroughly recommend this as a place to stay if you appreciate nature.

A beautiful, quiet place in the woods near Wondecla and close to great birding in the Atherton Tablelands.We spent a few nights here back in 2016, and it was one of the highlights of our trip to Queensland.Our hosts, Christina and Thomas, were so warm and welcoming, and were also excellent guides for the local birdlife.If you have a chance, this cabin is a fantastic get-away.

we had a lovely stay at atherton tablelands birdwatchers cabin in Septemberafter booking in for four days we extended for another three daysChristina and Thomas were excellent hosts, giving us information on where to find birds in other areas ,the bird life around the cabin was awesome ,including seeing a Cassowary outside the cabin on three occasions and chicko the young Cassowary visiting most daysthe cabin was more than we expected with every thing you could ask for suppliedwe were in bird heavenThank You Christina and Thomas

The cabin is so beautifully furnished and you don't need to leave the front porch to be constantly entertained by so many birds to even write them all . Relaxed and totally happy with our stay hope one day we get back .

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The rain forest setting is beautiful, the cabin is comfortable and well-appointed, and the hosts are happy to provide information and assistance. The best part is sitting on the deck and observing the amazing bird life. Highly recommended!

Lieu magique au coeur d'une forêt. Des oiseaux, des opossums et autres animaux comme voisins, visibles de la terrasse. Cabine très confortable, aménagée avec goût et où rien ne manque. De la cabine, on ne voit que la forêt! Idéale pour les amoureux de la nature et du silence!
