Knife Life Sharpening

Amazing door to door service; Pierre even generously loaned us a set of knives while he sharpened ours. Our knives are so much better now- cooking this evening was a real pleasure. Highly recommend.

Pierre is an absolute expert at his craft. Our global knives were super blunt and within a day they were returned to us good as new and perfectly sharp! He is so lovely to deal with - this is truly 5 star service. Highly recommend.

I contact Pierre through Instagram to sharpen my knifes. After trying to find reviews on his company I canceled because there was no reviews. He was so kind he meet me in person picked up my knifes and did an amazing job. My knifes where in pretty bad condition since someone els sharpen them on a machine with magnets. Pierre was able to get my knifes supper sharp and polished them up amazingly! Highly recommend him. My global knifes are amazing again! Thank you once again!

As an owner and lover of Japanese knives I really wanted to find a local service who could sharpen them by hand with Whetstones professionally, and Pierre did not disappoint at all! Pierre was absolutely fantastic, picking up the knives from my doorstep over a weekend and managing to sharpen them within a day before dropping them back at my house. I wish I had taken a photo of the knives before sharpening for Pierre managed to restore them to being as good as new. The photos below show both knives after sharpening. Pierre was very polite and professional and prices are very reasonable for a hand sharpening service with pick up and drop off. I would recommend Knife Life for any knife, but especially for Japanese Knives which require hand rather than machine sharpening.

Having never had my kitchen knives professionally serviced previously, I spent some time researching online before finding Knife Life. And I must say I have been Very impressed with Pierre and his service.He brought a completely unusable set of Japanese kitchen knives back to razor sharp paper slicing capability for me, all well within 24 hours.Such a quick turnaround - From home pick up, sharpening of 8 knives, to drop back all within a matter of hours. Also included a set of serrated steak knives.Cannot fault whatsoever, the results speak for themselves - they are sharper now than the day I bought them.
