Misty Mountain Farm Stay

Epic spot. Greg the owner is a legend. Rooms are spacious and comfy. Great entertaining spaces and big deck areas.

Misty Mountain was perfect for our family reunion last weekend. The mix of rooms between the two houses gave us bedding options to suit a range of ages and the common areas gave great spaces for group meals while there were plenty of quiet spaces for special one on one catch ups. Great cooking facilities, immaculate grounds, beautiful views and if you want to eat out there are plenty of options within a 15 min drive. Highly recommend.

Family stay with 8 adults, 4 children and a baby. Used all accommodation available. Middle of June and weather was cold.Owner who lives on the property supplied wood to keep the fire burning for the duration of the stay. Property has numerous bedrooms, electric blankets and a large family room. Substantial open space for children to play. Kitchen supplied requisite needs. Close to Wyong and Tuggerah to purchase supplies.Owner charming and on hand to ensure stay is enjoyed and address any issue whilst maintaining a low profile.Property is modern and has all required appliances. Property neat clean, tidy and well maintained.Recommend for large groups and or families.

Misty Mountain is a brilliant place for large groups to stay, with ample space for everyone. Its old school country charm, matched with the beautiful nature surroundings make for a relaxing and peaceful getaway. My family's Christmas plans were cancelled last month due to COVID, so we celebrated a belated Christmas at Misty Mountain this weekend just passed and it was wonderful.

I‘ve lived a full life; I have seen the Great Pyramid of Giza, sat in the Colosseum in Rome and walked on the Great Wall of China, but nothing can prepare you for the wondrous majesty of Misty Mountain Farm Stay. I recently attended a bucks party where balls were handed and spiked, beers were ponged and holes were corned. Greg’s laissez faire attitude towards rules and regulation gave us the freedom to truly enjoy ourselves without fear of rebuke or recrimination. He is a fantastic host, and I wish him every success in the future.

I've stayed at Misty Mountains several times 2015-2020, The property is always beautifully maintained and the accommodation is just superb - homely, clean and with that country feel with everything you need to drop everything and just turn up.Get to know Greg. He's a font of knowledge on the area and will make your stay even better. The whole family was taken on a tractor ride and we've enjoyed many BBQ's with the owner. Ultimate relaxation.Martin Kelly

I was there with a group of Bush Walkers. We enjoyed our 4-day stay. Good kitchen facilities, laundry, relaxing areas and comfortable beds. Greg was friendly and helpful. Lovely views and close to shops at Wyong. The driveway from the road has been damaged during recent rains but was drivable even for small cars. Great place in a lovely area.

This farm stay is perfect for a large groups and is absolutely beautiful. The house is spacious, fireplace kept out the cold, and there is a great deck that's perfect for meals and to watch the kangaroos at dusk.

This venue was perfect for my husbands 40th. The rooms and the grounds were immaculate!!!! The fireplace was a perfect spot to socialise and catch up with old friends. Greg was the perfect host, super accommodating and made the whole experience memorable. Couldn't recommend this venue enough !!! Hope to visit Misty Mountains again soon.
