Great experience loved it. Best place to interact with birds. Good for kids too.

Expectations weren’t too high from reading reviews and for the price I thought this place was excellent.Loved every minute of being there, from the friendly service while providing morning tea, to the bird show and free time with the birds later :)

Completely underrated, amazing experience for a cheap price. Loved the bird encounters, fell in love with Boey (sweetest bird ever) and gained an appreciation for the intelligence of parrots. Shame they lack government funding, because you can see how much the owners and volunteers love these birds.

Very interesting to see all the different birds. Also got to pat them and feed them, and there is a room where they all fly around and land on you and you can hold them and take pictures. Tours must be booked, and you get your personal tour guide to show you around. Very knowledgeable staff. All funds go towards funding the sanctuary and clinic. It's also a boarding place for pet birds. It's not a big place so it only took about 1-1.5 hours to go through.

I especially loved the care and expertise the volunteers had for the birds. They were knowledgeable and clearly looked after them well.

What a great place. My 12 year old son and I were driving on our way to visit another bird aviary not far from here and I just took a random turn to visit the nearby mountain that a road sign was pointing to. To our surprise we randomly stumbled into Parrots In Paradise and called them to make a booking. My son loved it. He is right into birds and he got so much from this visit. I personally am not a bird lover at all but even I enjoyed the visit. At least I came out of there without any presents" on my head - lol. Our road trip was specifically to see bird attractions and especially Macaws so this random find to this place suited our exact plans. How lucky. Thank you."

Sunshine Coast must do! The staff are incredibly dedicated and passionate volunteers. The place is well maintained and the birds are so happy and healthy. Plus, the scones are an absolute must have! Will definitely be back.
