The two staff Sharon and Natasha are the best consultants I've ever met. They both showed me and mothers compassion dealing with bank accounts estate notifications and paperwork after my father passed away. I couldn't ask for such lovely ladies working with us anywhere else. Well done St george st marys.

No big complaints for my last few visits. It gets busy, but the staff are always helpful

My wife called on Monday to set up an appointment with the loan specialist.We are looking for a bridging loan which once terminated will have no repayments has we will be in the black. It is called no credit end bridging loan I think. We were told she would call us back by the end of the day.By Wednesday after work, I decided to go into the St George bank and find out myself why we had no response. I explained our situation and asked to speak to the loan specialist to set up an appointment.Within two minutes, she came in and I explained the situation. Because we will not have any money owing, only St George and Westpac do those bridging loans. She first told me that only St George customers could apply for a loan which is a Lie!. Then she told me that those bridging loans were 99% for their customers. I did not want to be confrontational so let the lie pass. Then she told me that our car loan was through a car yard. I never mentioned that to her therefore she must have checked my wife's original call and decided to ignore us..To be fair to her her people skills and interests in us deserves minus seven stars. She should be sacked and never re-employed in such a critical position where people are relying on experts to come through with extra brilliant results.For every possible potential customer to St George, avoid this poorly run store and definitely avoid this waste of oxygen that controls the loans and people's aspirations.

Worst banking experience ever. I applied balance transfer Vertigo Visa Card online somewhere around 13 January and still they verifying documents. Verification team wouldn’t ask the documents they need at once. They ask one or two documents at a time, some times same document twice and will make sure you are busy.Had to call many times still didn’t get the answer. If you are not in hurry and have plenty of time to waste, this is the place.

This rating is for st George in general, my partner and I accidentally lost our card at home so we needed cardless cash, it's December 27th right inbetween Christmas and New year's and literally EVERY ATM so far (4) has been turned off/playing up, we cannot get any money out, the card is nowhere to be found what the hell can we do when none of your atms in the whole town are working

Worst branch. St George headquarters needs to audit them asap. I applied for Business Banking account, they have never processed it for me. I went to complain they still didn't do it. Terrible Terrible never go back there again.

Probably the worst customer service I've ever had, I'm surprised that branch is even still open.. if you don't like your job don't do it

The customer service rep Sharon McGinley is such an amazing person. I was distraught with a scam thats happened with me and I was trying get my funds on to my account. I have made multiple calls to St George customer who were just passing me around from one department to another. I felt they weren't trained well to handle this issue, finally after 45 minutes of staying on calls, they told me to pop in to my local st Branch, which I did. Sharon took the ownership, she called the digitals teams who handles frauds from here phone to sort it out. She saw that i was upset, heard me and did her best and went beyond her designated duty to help me recover the money. She is amazing. Zero stars for the phone customer support and 10 stars to the local branch representative Sharon.

Made a large cash withdrawal of $27500. $700 is missing. Waiting for the bank to balance their monies for the day then she will call me back.When I called to let the officer know, she said why didn't you count it here? We were at the front counter with people everywhere. She was using a machine to count this money. I trusted the st George employee to know what she was doing. I didn't think that I will need to re count the money after she had the money weighed by machine.Learnt my lesson - St George can make mistakes too!
