I paid for a pre sale check. Was told everything is OK and i just need to pay for a road worthy, thats it. Paid for a road worthy to be told i need to pay another $3000. Jackie making jokes about me falling over on the phone when my voice is shaking after being told i must pay 3 grand. Its cruel! I almost couldn't pay my rent. What was the point of a pre sale check?? Had to cancel my sale as I was going to loose money. If Jim had of mentioned this to me in the pre sale check i could have budgeted. Had an idea the car needs some work. He told me it was fine in the pre sale check. Now, i'm out of pocket $270 pre sale check & $300 road worthy for a cancelled car sale. If he had of been honest with me i wouldnt be writing this. Would of sold my car without road worthy. Acts like their customers are looked after when really they are being ripped off! Avoid at all costs

Amazing customer service! The workers here were extremely knowledgeable and sweet when it came to answering any question. I came in for an RWC and ended up needing a few repairs to complete one. I was kept in the loop constantly as to what parts might be an issue and if the cost of repairs would increase because of that. Overall, I was extremely satisfied with the work done and the price paid. They also helped me out when I wasn't able to pick up my car when the repairs were completed. Great local mechanics!

Excellent expertise, efficiency and customer service. We would strongly recommend this mechanic to everyone in the area! My husband and I have been getting our cars serviced here for a few years, and even though we have moved house, we continue to send our cars here as we trust the service, which is always friendly and reliable even when they are flat out busy.In the past 12 months, I have called Rushdale Automotives after something had suddenly gone wrong with my car. Both times Jim had been very busy and fully booked, but he said come in and I will have a look. He made time to do an assessment and found a solution both times either by letting me borrow the hire car or fixing the problem very quickly.Thank you!

This business is consistently fair, friendly and professional. I had a few vehicle issues present themselves on my Ford Ranger and Ford misdiagnosed, overcharged and provided poor customer service. Rushdale Automotive are the opposite and always provide a complimentary loan vehicle. Great mechanics are hard to find and these guys are the best I've ever experienced. I won't be taking my cars anywhere else.

I found Rushdale on Google when I was looking for an engine specialist for a second opinion, after the Ford dealership quoted me a very expensive repair for a (supposedly) cracked cylinder head.Jim was very courteous and patient, taking time to explain things and answer questions. During the two times I was there he even ignored his ringing phone!Long story short, the problem was not a cracked cylinder head at all! Jim had explained clearly what he was going to do (as the fix may not be conclusive the first time due to the nature of the problem) and made sure I understood before proceeding.In the end that one fix was all that was needed and it cost less than a tenth of what the Ford dealership quoted me! The Ford dealership was clearly trying to rip me off by quoting an unnecessary major repair.I will definitely go back to Rushdale, both for service and repairs. I feel this is an honest business and they value long term relationships with their customers.
