Shredded grass should be exactly that, shredded. I got a mix load 50/50 of shred and patches which was a nightmare to plant.Took 4 hours on my knees turning and hand planting each patch over 400sqm.The machine I paid to hire did absolutely nothing to help plant the patches either.Complained to Greenacres complete with photos. The reply was to apply water and fertilise. No offer to refund machine, only offered free fertiliser which I had already purchased through them.Quite disappointed.

Not happy with shredded turf as it wasn’t shredded properly had large clumps of turf that I had to break up with hands before spreading as disc hire machine wouldnt push into soil. Out of 3 bags I would have got 2 bags shredded not very good when you pay good money for shredded turf took up lot of extra time.
