Thank you Nick for your help in getting my diagnosis for SCDS. I needed vestibular testing done, which I was expecting to have to get done interstate. You provided them quickly and efficiently enabling the surgeon in Sydney to make a diagnosis and book me in for surgery. It has been a life changing experience and I can’t thank you enough for your part in it.

Hearing Solutions for the Whole FamilyNot only did Nick Modrovich (audiologist/magician) manage to convince my mother that she was suffering hearing loss (and it wasn’t just that everyone else wasn’t speaking clearly anymore), he also managed to fit her for hearing aids that fit her lifestyle perfectly — and that you can’t see either.She can answer the phone directly and play iPad and TV through them as well.Ability Hearing also do ear cleaning and this made a big difference to my mother’s hearing and comfort as well. If there are ever any problems the response is always the same — just make an appointment and come in. Easy, no fuss. Heidi and Nick have SO much patience and manage to somehow speak the hard truth while maintaining the relationship.Heidi tested my daughter’s hearing at age 4, same experience, different age group. I wouldn’t hesitate to call again if anything comes up. I know that even if they can’t directly help me, they will offer a helpful opinion based on their years of experience and the sort of empathy I think comes with having their own young children and a family business.There’s no one else I would call for anything hearing related.My mother’s hearing had gotten to the point where her relationship with my daughter (and others) was deteriorating and she was becoming isolated. So grateful to have been able to call on Heidi and Nick and for everything they did. The biggest relief personally was the cost, I knew Mum wouldn’t want hearing aids you can see and I expected a many thousand dollar bill. It was nothing like that. Plus the aftercare is based on what that particular client needs. One of the many benefits of going to a family run business, I guess :)

After doing some research upon being approved for a DVA hearing package. I decided to go with Ability Hearing Kingston. They provide a person centred approach to hearing loss and where able to tailor some hearing devices to my personal needs at a very competitive price point. I can now here sounds I had forgotten existed. I have been very pleased with the result and the follow up service is excellent.

Heidi is considerate and helpful and explains the use of the hearing aids, and the App connected to them on my phone, very well.Definitely recommend this service.

I went to Ability Hearing to get my ear unblocked after three days of not hearing properly. They were able to use suction to clear the build-up of wax.Heidi was very helpful in telling me what to expect before the procedure. Then she followed up with a free hearing test to make sure it was all good.Thank you!

There may not be a cure for tinnitus however a consultation with Heidi has helped me understand it better and provided me with suggestions for how I can mitigate my symptoms - as much as possible. Heidi is friendly, professional, courteous, thorough and helpful. I certainly recommend this independent family audiology business to others.

Nick at Ability Glenorchy was great with both our boys' hearing tests. He was very knowledgeable and thorough. We definitely recommend him to others.

I enquired about custom snore plugs to block noise. Heidi was exceptionally friendly to deal with. She organised for Nick to come and see me at my house, as she knew I had a 8 month old baby to bring along to appointments. Nick came and did the fitting appointment, and also came to my house again once the custom made plugs arrived to deliver them. Excellent service from a stunning family owned, local Tasmanian business. I can recommend Ability Hearing and Balance!

I would like to compliment Heidi on her excellent and thorough testing of my (L) and (R) ears post having influenza which lasted for approx. three weeks!
