Wongi Waterholes Camping Area
Good spot to camp for a few days, use as a base camp to explore the forest trails and discover spots to launch your kayak or canoe on Lenthall Dam.

Wongi Waterholes Camping Area
Very nice spot with toilets and showers. No bins at the day use area and all the tree swings are broken. Amazing scenery. I do not reccomend for campers who like camping with wifi. People who like bush camping will enjoy staying here. Dogs are also allowed, but not at lentils dam.

Got there after sunset and we were all alone which was nice. Has toilets but doesn’t flush. Hope they fixed it. No taps either. Heavy vehicles drive past all night so it was slightly noisy. Otherwise a nice flat, shady campsite

Love this place and have for over 30+ years. Great camping facilities with clean flushable toilets (with toilet paper) running water but not drinkable there's also a day area separate from camping area

Great little camp area and still had water even during drought. Can swim and would be great for kayaks. Plenty of space to camp at a really affordable price also.

Basic bush camp but with decent toilets and even a shower! Shame there are no campfires but still a great little weekend getaway spot when you want to keep it simple.

Wongi Waterholes Camping Area
This is a fantastic basic bush camp. My little dog had his nose in the air smelling the roses for 3 days and I used my very quiet Honda generator during the day to charge my E scooter as I had the place to myself. Road in a bit rough but my scooter and trailer handled it ok. No drinking water so bring your own or filter the rainwater tank as I did. Basic toilet and cold shower facilities that I didn't use on my short stay. Please take all rubbish out with you. Great place to put my swag half a metre from the water and costs under $7.a night. Dogs and generators allowed Book through Qld parks and forests
