Zena was such an amazing part of our wedding. She was so thoughtful and well spoken. All night our guests complimented the wonderful celebrant who told our love story with so much understanding of who we were. She set the tone to which we started the next chapter of our lives and we couldn’t have asked for a more amazing person. Zena was so easy to work with and always understood us. Her work was amazing and she made us both feel comfortable on our wedding day as well as make it special and memorable for us both. We are so happy we chose Zena as our celebrant! Zena took the time to really get to know us as people so that she could give us the perfect personalised ceremony. She was easy to communicate with, made planning a fun experience and was so supportive throughout the entire process. Zena was a guiding light not only through planning our destination wedding but also on the day when we were both overcome with emotion. As a queer couple Zena created a safe place for us to both feel comfortable, she was able to easily adapt more inclusive language to better suit us as a couple. Thank you Zena for your beautiful words during the ceremony, your patience during our zoom sessions and for celebrating our love story.

We could not have been more happy to have Zena as our celebrant, from start to finish. We undertook the task of planning a wedding whilst pregnant and managing a toddler, and so appreciated how much Zena really held us through the space and made the planning of everything so easy. She was highly flexible with when we could meet, provided easy to follow prompts and ideas for planning the ceremony and vows and was super responsive and available. We felt so trusting of Zena with how she would present our story.On the day Zena was so professional and calming, and gave clear instructions and suggestions to us as well as the key players. The story she presented about our relationship was so true to us, with so much heart and tasteful humour it had our guests in tears of both laughter and emotion, and so many people commented to us afterwards how wonderful she had been. Cannot recommend Zena enough.

We had the absolute pleasure of having Zena marry us earlier in February this year. From the beginning, Zena made us two nervous nellies feel very relaxed and at ease, and that was all because of her warm, caring, and professional approach. Even though we were complete strangers, our catch ups felt like going out for coffee with a dear friend, where you share some of your favourite moments and life’s joys. Zena was patient through tears and listened to our story to create a ceremony that was a perfect representation of who we are. Our wedding day was the most magical experience and if we were to do it all again, we would choose the lovely Zena over and over!
