Ho Wong's Chinese Restaurant
Was the only thing open on the strip but am so glad I discovered this place! Waitress was super lovely and the food was very flavoursome. I ordered the appetiser fried squid with chilli and salt and it was a reasonable size! They were very generous with my friends sweet and sour prawns which is rare these days. Thank you so much!

Ordered the spring rolls, fried rice and honey chicken. Spring rolls were great! No issues. But the fried rice and honey chicken had absolutely no flavour and tasted like they were cooked a while ago. Would not go here again.

Given it a couple of chances. I’m sure back in the day when cheap Chinese food was decent it would’ve been fine. But since upping the prices (I understand everyone has to) it’s just not worth it. The standard of the food as remained the same which is average at best. Nothing really tastes fresh.

Everything was very a good experience. Food was very tasty and service was very fast as we were the only table occupied. Decor could be updated a little. Highly recommended

Food was passable, but not great. ... NO atmosphere, we were the only customers. I got the impression, that the staff ( one girl ) was shocked someone actually wanted to sit, & eat. The whole place was really set up for takeaway I would say, however, there is plenty of room, & tables everywhere. Decor is so outdated, & old...There was quite a few takeaways being sold, so, I guess it's popular for that side, but, I wouldn't recommend it, as a destination, to take a date to impress !!

Hi ordered food on the 21/1/23 through Menulog on eating the beef in black bean sauce I found myself biting on a thin 5cm long wire tried ringing the restaurant 3 times but only got as far as explaining that there was in my food and the they hung up me 3 times and I was polite in informing them,informed Menulog who refunded cost of meal $20.80,total order was $50 which no one ate any more after that.

Ordered via uber eats. The honey chicken was mostly batter with a small 1cm piece of chicken in it.The pork in plum sauce was mostly vegetables and the pork was dry.The west lake duck meat was also very dry and mostly batter.Pretty disappointing, but also understandable with the cost of meat these days.
