Early Settler Ballarat

Terrible service at every interaction. The person who served us was bored and indifferent but we still bought something. Our delivery was a week later than we were told it would be, then when we called it turned out that it had been sitting there and no one bothered to call. We asked why and they said “don’t know. Do you want it delivered?” We organised a delivery window of 4 hours on a specific day and it didn’t show up. We called and they asked us if “are you sure it hasn’t been delivered?” Obviously, we were sure. They called back an hour later and the driver said he had the wrong time. Too much of a headache. Then we ended up with part of the order being wrong... definitely 1 star.

I had to ring and arrange delivery of furniture that we had booked to pick up ourselves, but due to bad weather thought it would be easier to have them delivered. I had the pleasure of dealing with Sara who delivered beautiful customer service and my items were delivered at a time that suited me. Thank you Sara!

Great online service and I found what I was looking for at a great price

Very disappointed with this store. Ordered an item of furniture over a month ago. It finally arrived in the warehouse last week. I arranged delivery this afternoon. Its now well after 8pm and the item has not been delivered. I will now have to go to the store to complain as nobody answers the phone. I have tried calling the store on many occasions but it always goes to voicemail. I am still waiting on my calls from 3 weeks ago to be returned. When I brought this up at the store recently I found the sales person became very snarky. Very very poor customer service. Will never buy another item there.

The salespeople were friendly enough; the manager was anything but helpful. Ended up driving to the warehouse in Keysborough from Ballarat to get what we wanted and even got a discount because we drove so far! The furniture is high quality, made in Viet Nam. We purchased our table and chairs from them 12 years ago so it's the people that lack good people skills to cause a low rating.

Called in yesterday afternoon, as I was visiting in Ballarat. Went in to store as it said on their website that the item I wanted was in stock there. The Store Assistant was very helpful, and double checked on item for me, as there were no more on the showroom floor. She was going to order me one, and then enable me to pick it up at my normal store in Frankston. But decided to have a look out the back just in case there was one there. Thankfully there was, so I was able to make my purchase and take home with me. The assistant was even nice enough to take my purchase out to the car for me. Thank you. I am just sorry that I did not take note of your name, so that I could put it into my review. But I am sure you know who you are.

I usually love this shop, I love the furniture and decor and i’m always so excited to bring something up to the counter. But the women I had today were rude and vacant. The main person serving me didn't acknowledge me, I felt like I didn't exist. I didn't get a hello how are you, she just grabbed my things, took them to the other side of the counter without telling me to go there and started processing them. I had to mention that I was a member and she hurried me to spit out my phone number. I felt like an annoyance. The other lady carelessly took one of my things and dumped it directly on top of a delicate wall piece I was buying ???? Appalling.

Almost everything has to be ordered. Dreadful. They just don't keep stock. My order of an ornament took 5 weeks.Never again

Thank you for the spot of racism to make us feel welcomed at our new home in Ballarat. The older lady with short black hair and the sleeve tattoo on her left forearm needs some unconcious bias training. Just because we are brown does not mean we are trying to cut the queue.
