Great quality fish, very hospitable, the owners son likes to use it as a bit of a hideout (deegan?) i think his name is! amazing kid, says he loves gaming and fishing with his 2nd uncle, Would definitely recommend!

Old Mates Fish and Chips
My order was good, except the chips were cooked in old oil or over cooked. They were slightly dark stale to eat and had a burnt taste. Sorry but I had to bin them. The potato scallops were OK, but the batter was also on the harder side,even thou they looked crispy. The fish and sea scallops, and chicken burger were tops! I would order again.Great friendly service with pretty good prices.

It started out really good, visited every Friday as this was our takeaway night. Unfortunately it has become very lax with the food quality dropping,and wait time increasing.

Fish lovely, potato scallops really good, sea scallops yum. Nice non greasy batter. But the chips were atrocious guys..Like reheated and dry. Although, I have had some good ones previously. Please don't serve up something inedible again. Otherwise a great fish n chips shop

This place is great old school fish n chip shop,It’s clean and run by a really great bunch of peopleThere seems to better meal deals and combos if you go into the actual store instead of delivery apps from what I could tell

Crumbed flake to die for and goes really well with their salad. Eat there at least a few times a week nice and fresh and tastes amazing

Best fish and chips we have had on the coast! So fresh and generous sizes! Mozzarella Sticks were a great addition to our dinner!Uber Eats made an error but the shop rectified it straight away.!
