Marigold Indian Restaurant
Fast becoming my go-to Indian restaurant. Always able to get a table in spite of it often being crowded. Great selection of dishes, all done very well. I've had better chicken tandoori and the saffron rice is more yellow rice, however. Generally a brilliant Indian restaurant and well priced.

Edible, but barely. Unethical, blamed others for their own shortcomings. Will not order again.We called and confirmed that we should go through Menulog for delivery. We did so, ordered, no problems.We then were waiting over an hour for our food.I called the restaurant to check why the food was late, they claimed that it had gone out on time and it must be the driver. They also said they were out of beef and lamb, but would give me 20% off any chicken dishes I ordered. Having already spent money on food that was (hopefully) on the way, I declined.I then asked Menulog what the problem was, and they were understanding and kindly stepped up and refunded $20 for the inconvenience.Shortly after, the driver arrived with the food, and when I asked him what had happened, be showed me *evidence* that he had been waiting to collect our food for *50 minutes*! And missing out on other jobs the whole time!When the food arrived the chicken tikka was undercooked (silvery pink and tough) and the saffron" rice was neon orange and tasted like unflavoured rice. The naan was rubbery and swimming in oil.So disappointed

Marigold is absolutely my favourite Indian restaurant in Clifton Hill.The service is good and the place is clearly popular. It's worth considering a booking if you are wanting to eat at peak times.I highly recommend the samosa as well as the cauliflower pakora.The curries have a zing however they will make then to your desired level of spice.Well priced and good quality. Thumbs up.

Although I haven't been to this restaurant, I've ordered food from Uber Eats and never been disappointed. Last time I quickly snagged an offer of double Chicken Tikka for the price of one ($17.59)! The food was fine, no fuss and was delivered on time. Always keep an eye out for such mouthwatering offers!

I like the food in this place it is very delicious and the staff are nice as well and I strongly recommend this place if you want try an Indian food my favorite dish is Chicken tikka masala and garlic naan. However, you can choose any type of chicken or meat with rice and naan bread and papadum and soft drink for good price and good taste.

One of the worst chicken biriyani ever had in my life. Chicken pretty much mixed with saffron rice and literally 3 small pieces of chicken in a serve and salty!

Lovely food. Good serves. Staff are lovely. The Indian vanilla icecream and cheese balls in syrup were the best I've tasted in decades. Have been coming here since it first opened and it's been consistent in it quality and staff.
