Pete's Swim School in Queanbeyan

My twins have been attending Pete's since they were 3 yrs old. It is amazing to see how they have progressed from no skills at all to being able to swim the length of the small pool. All swim instructors are professional and experienced, and a big plus is that my kids love them all...their main teachers Sarah and Pete are both great and have different personalities and approaches that appeal to the kids. I would recommend Pete's Swim School to anyone who is considering lessons.

Pete and the Swim School are awesome. He and his team are great teachers. You can see how quickly your child progresses through the levels. The lessons are intense yet long enough the keep the young ones focused. The atmosphere is welcoming and friendly.I could not recommend Pete's swim school enough.

Pete has completely changed my kids confidence with water! When they started lessons they wouldn’t even put their face in the water and now they can swim laps and are confident swimmers. Pete has a really great teaching style and I couldn’t recommend his swimming program enough. The small classes are a game changer and you can really notice how fast your kids progress week to week.

Pete and his team are excellent at what they do. The swimming lesson is quiet, calm and focused. My daughter has been swimming with Pete for nearly 2 years and due to his tuition is steadily improving. I would recommend Pete for everyone, but particularly for kids who don’t like the chaos of the bigger swim schools and may be a bit nervous. He is also lovely with the kids - firm but kind.

Our daughters have both been swimming with Pete since age 3 and have gained both water skills and confidence. Small class sizes are excellent, staff are knowledgeable, friendly and great with the children. Cannot recommend this swim school highly enough and love that the school is growing with our children so that they can keep on enjoying it!

We moved our kids to Pete’s Swim School in mid 2021, and haven’t looked back. We left a bigger swim school as we felt our kids weren’t really progressing, they spent a lot of time waiting at the side of the pool for their turn. With Pete, the kids are on the go the whole lesson and his teaching methods are highly effective. It has been fantastic seeing our kids gain confidence in the pool and actually swimming!! We highly recommend Pete’s Swim School.

We feel incredibly lucky our two young boys have had the opportunity to learn to swim with Pete and his team of Instructors. While the attention to detail and technique is excellent from both Pete and his team, we also love and appreciate the time and dedication given to water safety and teaching the boys these valuable life skills. The small class sizes are also a huge bonus as is the online booking system which makes scheduling lessons a breeze.

Pete was by far the best swim teacher my kids have ever had and under his training and guidance I’m sure all his new staff will be equally as engaged and enthusiastic about teaching the vital life skill. My children have made more progress with this swim school in a few months then in the 3 years of lessons they had with another school, I highly recommend this swim school.

My family and I have been attending Pete’s swim school for the past six years, and we have thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The instructors are professional and knowledgeable, and they have a great approach to teaching children how to swim.My son and daughter have been taking lessons here, and I have seen a significant improvement in their swimming skills. The instructors are patient and have a way of making the kids feel comfortable in the water, which has helped them gain confidence.Pete is great at communicating and if we have to be absent from a class it’s easy to notify them using their Swimstart App and then we can arrange a make up class at another time.Overall, I highly recommend Pete's Swim School for anyone looking for a wonderful swim school. The Pete and his instructors are top-notch, and the facilities are clean and well-maintained. It's been a wonderful experience for my family, and we look forward to many more years of swimming here.
