Tom was great to deal with from quote to service delivery. He gave sound advice and offered good solutions for our fan / lighting needs. His installation was efficient, high-quality and left no mess. I phoned Glenelg Electrical after a circuit breaker shut off on my switchboard taking out most of the appliances in the house. After phoning a major company who quoted $2000 to find the fault, I contacted Tom at Glenelg Electrical and he gave me immediate advice over the phone (free of charge) so that I could locate the faulty appliance and restore power to the rest of my home. He then helped work out a solution for replacing the appliance and ensured the switchboard was fully functioning. The honesty and professionalism was most appreciated.

During the recent Adelaide storm on 12 November 2022 our home suffered a major blackout due to rain ingress into the junction between our house mains and the SA Power Networks power supply. We were without power for 4 days, believing that the problem was actually an SA Power Network issue. After they finally visited and declared it was our responsibility to resolve, we decided to get in touch with Glenelg Electrical, who responded urgently and professionally to our call. Tom assessed the situation as a major fault in our consumer mains. Despite the difficulty of finding a supporting team of electricians, during the frantic post-storm repair period, he somehow managed to do so, and had the work completed within 24 hours. Not only did the bill come in below his estimate, which we were very thankful for, but his workmanship, and that of his team were exemplary.Thanks Tom and all!

Tom was easy to work with, he was on time and he cleans up as he goes. He replaced our old downlights to LEDs and what a difference they make. This is the 2nd time I have used Glenelg Electrical and would recommend him to anyone I know.
