Dove Lake Boatshed
Easy as to walk to from the dove lake carpark, and the shuttle service is frequent and easy to get on or off. Great views at any time of year! I happened to get a rainy misty day, but still superb.Suitable for all fitness levels, just ensure you bring adequate/suitable clothing and you’ll have a great time. The dove lake circuit though is closed for a bit as the track is being upgraded. Also you will need a parks pass, the holiday variant gives you shuttle access as part of the pass, you cannot drive and park in the carpark.

Not too many people around as it's winter, but that also bought cloudy weather too and snow storms and cold winds - but still a beautiful setting. There's no car access past the interpretation centre, but the regular shuttle bus from the visitor centre is quick and informative. The 2-3 hour walk around Dove Lake is not an exaggeration - especially if you stop for photos, but it's a relatively flat walk apart from a couple of areas. We'll be back when the weather is a little more photo friendly :)

It was a nice experience for all ages. We did the difficult walk of Marions lookout which I will not recommend for everyone. However the walk around the Dove lake is pleasing and everyone can enjoy it.Please note bus tickets are $25 each which I believe is a bit too high.

Worth the hike. It's snowing today and shuttle services were cancelled till the weather clears up but it was a good hike and a breathtaking view.

Dove Lake Boatshed
Lovely spot after a short walk from the bus drop off point. Easy to access all the other walking spots to the summit etc. Pity about the wallies getting in the boatshed and ruining it for others. Stay on the paths.

Very picturesque photographs. It is exactly as per magazine cover. So beautiful and serene. Weather was perfect. Breathtaking views and very calming. The walk to the Boatshed is a little bit hilly and down slope but it is alright for me as my leg is not that good. Not too difficult walk and pathway able to pass through 2 people. Not many people there as there's many other circuit around the lake.
