Run down motel that needs to be repainted or the walls need to be washed as they are dirty, glass windows cracked that need to be replaced, paintings that are chipped on the frames need to go, cupboard doors dont close properly and $200/ night!!! Expensive for a very run down motel that should have been $80/night!! The whole place is not very well kept.

The management here really do a terrific job. They go above and beyond for the customers. They are an older couple who really take the time to make sure you are looked after where possible. They have done a great job renovating the new rooms to being the property up from a 2.5 star property to 3.5 star property. The new rooms are absolutely amazing and provide a home away from home feel. All the new bedspreads are so comfy and I recommend staying in them for a good night's sleep. There is undercover car parking and 24/7 CCTV Cameras for peace of mind.The Central Motel Ipswich is conveniently located with shops and food directly across the road like domino's, Indian, salad bar and more only a short distance. Public transport is available at your door step to Brisbane city or Ipswich city cbd. This is also a really great place to stay if you are going to willowbank raceway, Ipswich dogs, school sports carnivals, sporting events, regional school sports , public Ipswich hospital , Ipswich private hospital and conveniently located for doctors. There is also a number of support health services nearby like disability services and a chemist. Highly recommended if you want an affordable motel in Ipswich with owners that will make sure you are looked after.

We stayed for the weekend and this place exceeded all expectations! Great welcoming, friendly staff, rooms were super clean and comfy beds, location is perfect.. close to everything.

Great place nice people at a budget price. Great Thai, an Indian and Pizza right across the road. Couldn’t ask for more for $99 a night.

I had rung this gorgeous soul Julie (owner)desperate for emergency accommodation one night for my large family as we were searching endlessly for a motel that would accommodate all 10 of us she chucked in a extra bed too we’ve stayed here just over a week now and are leaving in a couple of days to move into our rental but would highly recommend and thank the owners Julie and Michael for a wonderful stay am truly grateful as they helped me prevent my family from being homeless easy going chilled couple who deserve an award for running an awesome motel we’ll be back for sure as it had all the needs I required for my children may they be blessed 100 times for the services they provide and are also community driven I’ll never forget my stay here we’ll miss Ipswich because of Central Ipswich Motel Thank you so much JulieFrom The Kora Tribe!(Kevin)

It's comfortable the doors lock you can clearly tell that it is for a lower socioeconomic group however the people that are running the motel fabulous and awesome to deal with

death would be better. smashed windows in our rooms, drug dealers paradise, hid valuables during night and put chair under door for extra safety.

Room was clean and comfortable. I have to say that the staff were AMAZING, they went about and beyond with their helpfulness and would definitely recommend this place.
