100% jujitsu club...old school/ self defence based. Great team to train with across all ages (5 years - 50+ years ..guys and girls, men and women)...all abilities welcomed.

I've been in Hervey bay for a brief period and was very happy to find a club with such a welcoming and positive environment. Coach Joel is a fantastic resource of martial arts knowledge. Very excited to be training at Hervey bay bjj and would recommend this gym to anyone!

My children have been training Jiu Jitsu for the past 6 years and BJJ Hervey Bay is by far their favourite training experience. Classes include self defence and competition style Jiu Jitsu as well as an opportunity for live training and lots of fun. Really clean and well presented gym. Coaches are awesome!

I’ve trained at multiple Jiu Jitsu academies all across Australia as well as internationally and BJJ Hervey Bay is among the best. Students are given comprehensive and detail focussed coaching from Jim and Joel. The club atmosphere is fun, competitive and very inclusive. Jim and Joel have an open approach to training incorporating aspects of Judo and Wrestling as well as MMA and self defence into everything that they teach. I have two daughters and a son who train at the club and they enjoy the kids classes very much. The kids classes have an emphasis on the fundamentals of Jiu Jitsu for self defence and as a martial art as well as being fun and safe. I would recommend BJJ Hervey Bay to anyone - whether they are just starting out or been training for a while.
