Arve River
Beautiful walk to the Arve falls. Well worth the trip. I made it with a walking stick and the occasional arm of my companion so not too difficult for the less able. It said 20minute return but we weren't slow and it took us 40 minutes round trip. Such an incredible waterfall at the end. Native flowers along the way, of course. Quite a few birds, too. Magnificent views of the mountains.The River Arve in Geeveston is a very pleasant walk and a good place to spot a platypus! We had almost given up but at 1.45pm there was one swimming along in the river current! High fives!
