We did the river walk to the bridge. Beautiful stop for a picnic and a stroll with your dog my favourite part was the Bridge. If only I knew that the Bridge was near the lakes because I parked at the back of the Arboretum as that's what the map told me to go. But otherwise it was great.

A great flora and fauna reserve, with a few kilometres of easy walking tracks meandering around the lagoons and creeks. Lots of open grass area as well. Snapped a few shots of the locals enjoying this wonderful sunny day. Came across an old majestic Eucalyptus tereticornis ( qld blue gum) living its best life directly on the bank, doing its job holding the bank together. Shout out to council for maintaining this wonderful Arboretum.

The parklands have gotten busy during lockdown but there is plenty of room for everyone to enjoy whilst socially distancing.Serene parklands in a quiet part of town to explore. We visit here often for the off-leash area. Lots of friendly dogs and owners. Rangers do patrol so if you’re taking your dog, make sure you find the sign that spells out where the off-leash area is because you can be fined for having the dog off-leash outside of that area. Dog watering bowls at the tap over by the paddocks and one along the Main road out front.Walking trails run alongside the lake and river so lots of wildlife. Exercise equipment is in good order for anyone wanting to test their fitness.Only one table to eat at so bring a blanket of you’re lunching and remember, there are no restrooms. Plenty of benches to rest on and watch the day go by.

Beautiful, large arboretum to go to with your dog, family/friends, go for a run, have picnic, and relax in the sun! You'll see some ducks in the lake. Lots of space on the grass for dogs. Limited carpark space.

Fantastic park winding it's way around the Caboulture River. Easy to follow pathways the combination of the foliage and river allows for an extremely relaxing atmosphere. Hear the sounds of bird calls ringing through the trees ... then the odd wildlife critter pops its head up to see what the commotion is all about ....... Then you arrive at the dog off leash area, that's where my wife let me run free ... oops I mean Jack our dog could run free. Trees dotted around for some shade on them balmy Qld days. The whole area being very well maintained... go on get out and have a look

I saw a brown snake here! It’s just so wild and peaceful at the same time. It’s an unusual place and that’s why I liked it. You will hear a lot of Australian Ravens and see some ducks. Lots of people just chilling out and relaxing in nature. Please don’t litter! Just enjoy yourself and zen out ✌️

Lovely place for a walk. Dog off leash area on the Western side near Caravel Court, dog must be on leash elsewhere. Concrete paths suitable for stollers. Very nice walk under the shade of the trees and along the river. There is an additional path not shown on google maps. There are also exercise equipment posted along the walk, a drinking fountain with dog bowl, leash tether poles and dog mess bag dispensers. There is wheelchair accessible parking and entrance on Norfolk Esplanade.
