Kangarilla Road Vineyard & Winery

Lovely wines but a slight disappointing experience with two very busy hosts in a rather chaotic atmosphere. Overall the place is lovely with stunning views but our tasting experience was not great thanks in no small part to an overtly enthusiastic fog who humped everything that moved.

Loved Kangarilla Rd and Silent Noise wineries (both in the same place as father/son). We came into town late and Helen was very hospitable, explaining the area and the grapes to us. She recommended some lovely places for dinner and encouraged us to book quickly, which we were thankful we did. Dave the dog was the star of the show - greeted us at the door even! The wines were delicious and we enjoyed not being on a set list/time allocation. We didn’t feel pressure to limit our tasting or purchase a bottle. We could try what we wanted and enjoyed Helen’s recommendations. We purchased conservatively, it being our first winery in McLaren Vale, however can guarantee we will be back!

Visited this winery over the weekend for a friends birthday celebration. Can thoroughly recommend this winery, not only for accomodating us but their service level. Thanks Helen and Kevin, made our day. I booked over the phone and pre paid a week prior which everything was all organised. Wine was great which most purchased bottles to take home. Plenty of space outside for pictures and space inside for all of us to sit down while drinks. Thanks guys will be back for sure!

Lovely winery in McLaren Vale with a great selection of wines including a delicious Primitivo - which is rare in Australia. The people that work there are super friendly and helpful. Plus they have the Dave the dog who stole our hearts! Photos provided as evidence :-)

Amazing experience and staff. Merridy took our tasting and we had a visit from one of the owners, Helen which was delightful. Highlight of the day was such an extensive list to taste and delicious diverse and complex wines. Definitely a must do on a visit to McLaren Vale.

Sooo good! Went here as I remember loving the wine when we tried it once in Vic. Not only is the wine great but the service and knowledge of the owners just makes it even better. Kevin gave us so much insight into the wines we were tasting including how the soil and geological position of the vineyard the grapes were taken from influences the flavour of a vintage of the same age and process. Really enjoyed the conversation as much as the tasting. We were made to feel very welcome. Highly recommend! Thanks Helen and Kevin!
