Under the rain forest, the creeks dance down two 'pancake' sandstone escarpments. The humidity of the two falls provides a home for small ferns and orchids.Listen to the larger of the two falls - it produces a unique 'cracking' sound (like fireworks) under low-medium flow conditions.

These waterfalls are very pretty bit of a steep walk to get in and out ,can be slippery in some places , but we'll worth the effort .

Mildly challenging, good for a bush walk when you want to get away from crowds but don't want anything too difficult. Nice views of the waterfall, but nothing spectacular. Just a really nice chill hike, nothing demanding. Kids and dogs ok to take down there.

Went out with the family on a beautiful summer's day, and it was well worth the hike to get here. Two gorgeous waterfalls right next to each other, and a great place to sit and relax while listening to the water. We travelled with three kids, eight, six and three years old. The two older kids were fine, but the three year old got tired and didn't enjoy it as much. Overall, a very nice bush walk, with good tracks, good signage to get around, and ample parking.

Lovely day out trip. Dog friendly. Tred carefully on rainy days. Challenging at times. 4 falls along the loop. Less than a couple of hours from Sydney CBD.

Went after a week of heavy rainfall on a bit of a drizzly day. It was lovely and lush - perfect day to catch the waterfalls in full swing! The walk was a relatively easy circuit walk. Stopping at each waterfall and a longer pittstop at Federal falls, it took us about 2 hours in total. Dogs are allowed on leesh. It wouldn't be too challenging for kids either!

I took the family for a walk. Two hours was going to be a push as I have a six and three year old. You would not believe it but my two boys absolutely loved every minute of it. We had our swimmers with us as I had read that there was some swimming holes we could have a drink in. To my disappointment that was pushing it. The best we got was knee deep at best. I must say it was very refreshing though. We also spotted a fresh water Cray in the pool. Over all a fantastic day out and even on a hot day there was plenty of tree cover keeping us reasonably cool for the walk.I would definitely go back again with others.

We chose this place only because this was on our way back from Katoomba to city, turned out to be the best choice we've made for this trip! There has been lots of rain lately so the track was extremely damp and soft - but definitely worth the efforts to explore all the waterfalls and lookout points.
