The Talbot Centre

Absoolutely no support with this centre . Do not waste your money here! They are happy to take your money with no support given afterwards. No duty of care from the pediatrician there at all. My son was having severe nausea with the medication given but the pediatrician failed to contact me even after several attempts to contact him via email ! He also failed to give us the correct dosages chart for the chemist to break the medication in to for the school and my son had to miss school because of this as he failed to contact me to sort this out . Do not go to this place !! No body takes responsibility here !!

I highly recommend Dr Amy Talbot and her expertise. Being directly supervised by Amy, she always creates a warm, trusting, and safe space that allows people to explore concerns. Her incredibly extensive clinical knowledge means that she is well equipped to provide guidance that grows clinicians and subsequently ensures that people accessing services receive high-quality, person-centred, ethical care.

i first started coming here in February and since than i have received nothing less than understanding and respect from the staff, while struggling greatly they really stepped up for me. i recommend this place so many times over.

i would not recommend this centre to anyone, they are a fraud company who just plan to rip of hard earned money of parents who are already suffering from their children.Centre full of cheats and un ethical staff.I booked an assessment with them for 18 May 2021 in early January.I got a call from their office on 10 may that all of sudden the therapist has to go for a training and then they can do assessment in June if we wanted, to which i agreed and was confirmed by the staff that will get regular behaviour therapy from the same therapist after the assessment has been done.In June we went to the centre and could feel the negative vibes the moment i entered.I had the assessment done and than the therapist told me me that she can start from October with my son, and than i went mad with them.The centre instead of apologising for their mistake said please pay 350$.Its all planned and is a conspiracy of the management to take undue advantage of parent and rip them off, if you see their reviews every one is negative comments about the centre, I pray that centre like these close down soon .

From the time I was told that my psychologist was leaving the centre, it took three months for the client care team to come up with a suitable replacement for me. It was very stressful not knowing who the replacement would be until only a few weeks before where I had to make my choice. There should be better protocols in place to make this experience less stressful for already vulnerable people.There was also another time where I was told of the wrong appointment time when booking on the phone. Luckily it was virtual so I could make alternate arrangements, otherwise they would’ve charged me the cancellation fee!The psychologists at the centre can be hit or miss. Be sure to ask for their experiences to ensure they are the right fit for you. The prices are quite expensive though this would be some costs go to managing admin as it is a large centre.EDIT- Thank you for your response, I have attended the centre though you may not be able to identify me as I use an alias as I prefer not to use my name in public. I have transitioned to a different clinic so I do not feel the need to take this further and contact customer service, thank you.

They have an awesome team. Very kind and caring, also very helpful and professional.

They have great aspirations and engender hope but I found that they were totally unable to deliver. In my experience they found it very difficult to deal with anything outside their own frame of reference and respond to the individual who is in front of them. Rather than address problems and fix them, they appear to prefer to refer out. Well meaning but the follow through is not always there.

Such lovely staff. The client liaison team are always friendly and helpful. My dietitian is knowledgeable and very approachable.Dr Amy Talbot has a great deal of knowledge and experience especially regarding specialised topics such as Autism, sensory issues, OCD and eating disorders. Specialists in these areas are few and far between.The clinic is a little pricey, but that is to be expected from such a specialised, high-demand clinic with highly trained, professional staff in the Sydney/ Hills area.

I sought the advice of Dr Amy Talbot when my 8 month old refused solids. Dr Talbot asked me a few questions to get an idea of what might be going on, and then gave me a range of new strategies to try to encourage my daughter to eat, things I never would have thought of. I was able to implement them straight away and since this conversation my daughter has started to enjoy solid foods and meal times are a much happier experience for my whole family. Can't recommend her highly enough.
