Australia Post - Strathfield Post Shop

A postman who says delivery is complete without delivery. At the time you said you had completed the delivery.I was waiting in front of the mailbox. I don't know why they say they've completed the delivery when they've never even come. Australia's most irresponsible and useless post office.If the delivery man doesn't have to deliver, I want to be a delivery man at the strathfield post office. lazy and useless people

Rude customer service. No greetings no thank you. The two Asian ladies continued to chat with each other throughout the scanning of the package and had no communication with me. Calling out customers by showing hand gestures instead of ‘hello’.

Horrible staff and rude Indian girls and one asian girl working in customer service. It’s very bad service, doesn’t take care customers. They think work with government departments. You are big boss and doesn’t care. Remember, you will get rude service as well when you buy something outside. Karma is working, try improving your staff. If you don’t like serve customer go find another job. Please guys avoid to send your package this Strathfield Post AU.

Hey Tammy(a thin comparatively tall woman), hope you read this review.I really wanted to say personally that you shouldn’t be working like that.. can’t believe you said “I don’t know” when I asked if there was any parcels under my address and had this attitude like as if it’s none of your business. It should be your business because that’s what you are hired to do. If I face this kind of issue again, trust me you will regret for what you have done

Middle aged or older female staff was incompetent from the get go. I lined up last Friday and gave her my apple watch with the return sender document which had the barcode to show everything is covered and nothing at my expense. She made me go get a a small/thin box to fit my Apple Watch and i had to re-wait in line for her to tell me I had to pay for that. I told her, no I shouldn’t be paying for anything and I didn’t have to go through this long winded process and having to pay anything when I was at Burwood Aus post. She scanned my return barcode and realised her mistake but didn’t apologise for her terrible service, behaviour and mistake. Why was she so quick to tell me to do unnecessary things, wasting my time and nearly made me pay for no reason!?! Worse customer service experience in Aus Post and 90% reviews all repeat how terrible the customer service staff are and how they mistreat their local community they should be serving correctly and thoroughly. After all this is their job and that’s why they’re getting paid! Please sack them and get a new team. It is 2023, a new year after all! Or is this a new year, same $hi+!

Great customer service, swift and efficient. Sent a parcel to Canada, served by a middle aged Indian guy, lovely to be served by him. Signed me up for a discount loyalty programme too!

Not going to lie but people who work here are impatient, rude, not helpful and not welcoming.I don't think they even care about the customer. For them it's just a job. Seriously, they need to hire new people who are willing to help the customers.

Post office has recently moved to this location.Visited post office to send a parcel:Purchased a prepaid packaging to send a small parcel with that fit well inside the packaging.Was told when I got to the front desk that this particular type of packaging was not for this type of item, which is written nowhere on the packaging or the signage in the shop. This in itself was not a concern as I just picked out a different package and sent it with that instead, however they insisted on charging me for the initial packaging I had mistakenly picked up simply because I had written the address on it already.Staff could not comprehend the ridiculous logic of this and refused to not charge me for the unused packaging.Very poor service and would not use this post office if not a necessity.

Make sure to take a pen with you if you want to write down an address on your parcels/letters. I lined up in ordered to post something overseas, when I finally got to the counter I was told that I had to fill out a form. I went over to the writing area and discovered all the pens were missing. I lined up again and told the woman that someone had taken all the pens. I was informed that there were no pens available to which I pointed out the pens on her desk. Those pens were not allowed for the community, only staff! Luckily there was a dude in the queue cool enough to lend me his pen. The staff member told me I needed to be careful of COVID. She didn't have much to say when I pointed out that there hadn't been any new cases of covid-19 in NSW for over a month now. If she was so worried about COVID then why wasn't a single staff member wearing a facemask?!I filled out my form and parcel. The pen lent to me became the new community pen as no one else there at the table had known that shared pens had been outlawed at Post Office.I lined up AGAIN and finally had the parcel accepted. It must have been a 30 minute ordeal all up. Having to line up THREE times wasn't the best experience of my life.Some staff are super nice and chill and know exactly what's going on. Others are just a down right pain in the neck to deal with.Moving out of Strathfield Plaza hasn't made things any better either. #ShareThePenUPDATE: So today I returned to conduct some business and as I was waiting in line a woman who'd just been served had the same issue as I did when she realized there were no pens at the writing area due to covid-19. She returned to the window asking about the pens and was given one. So apparently I'm not allowed a pen, but with this woman it's all peachy. I've had to deal with disability discrimination so frequently and this was just another disgusting example.
