Solstice Apartments

Can confirm this Strata complex's bad reputation. Threaten to tow cars on technicalities on an almost weekly basis.

I am a current tenant from Solstice Apartment 105 and felt that I should say something about it given there are too many false statements made by the ex-tenants who made such damage to the apartments they rent and parking illegally and trying to blame management team for their wrong doings.Lee and Graeme are the most trustworthy building managers and we are very grateful for the way they manage and handle complex situations.Ever since the apartment is under their management, the tenants feel happy and secured, because we know that Lee and Graeme would follow up poor behaviours and actions in the apartment and ensure the best living condition we could have.If I moved out, I would definitely want them to represent my apartment because I know it is going to be in good hands.We are truly grateful for what you have done to create such a safe space to live.Joy

Note: The only 5 Star Review given below by Graham is not a Tenant. He is the Location Managers of the Apartment Complex.My review:An awful and overpriced Apartment complex. I rented for over three years and dealt with numerous management issues. They will attempt to fine you on every corner and have even towed their own residents for parking in the Visitor's Parking too long. On my departure my roommate bullied into paying for maintenance costs that by law were the Landlord's responsibilities and had our Bond withheld until the hassle became too much and we gave into their demands. These build-to-rent apartments are awfully designed. Poor ventilation makes higher story apartments virtually unbearable during summer as heat becomes trapped. If repairs are needed management will either take weeks to call a Tradesperson (so they need only pay them once and fix multiple apartments at a time) or simply tell you to fix the issue yourself.

By far the most inappropriate and unpleasant building management I’ve ever come across. Before even moving in they swore at me twice over the phone all because I asked which energy company to use. They have developed a power hungry fining system in the building where they make up rules and take your money. One of the many examples: I rented a car space from another apartment, the building manager had my car towed simply because I didn’t advise her on this, I then had to pay $600 to retrieve it.I would not recommend these managers to clean my toilet let alone run an apartment building. Solstice Apartments have arranged for the towing away of illegally parked cars in visitors car park. Max time is 3 hours. Illegally parked cars in basement car parks can be towed away by residents request only.

This is the worst building, avoid renting through internal agent which sits right at entry door.You will be in trouble when you are living

I have lived in one of the apartments for more than two years, and I am very grateful for Lee and the management team. They did an excellent job taking care of my apartment and whenever I reported something, they would fix it ASAP.Thanks to them, the building is always clean and noise free.
