First time visit to Cleijne motors onOctober 24, 2019. I was charged for Automatic Transmission Service" (198 AUD including GST) and "Brake Fluid Flush" (88 AUD including GST)--neither of which I asked for and for which I was not notified beforehand. I was ok with being charged $42.35 for coolant and $44 for rear light (despite the high prices) because the serviceman called ahead of time and notified me. But I must entirely reject their attempt to charge me for things I did not ask for and which were not needed. Don't be fooled by the Groupon coupon. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE."

The so called major" service is what's usually done in a normal service.Could not diagnose engine light fault and just reset the car computer (light came back on 20 minutes after they gave the car back to me).Air filter was not changed despite extra was charged (they did rectify after it was discovered

Please do not take your car to this place. I just went here to get the oil changed. My car is functioning very badly since I left the premises. When asked for a reason why was this he told me there was an issue with the engine coil and when he changed the oil the car magically got an issue. My car was working fine beforehand and when confronted the other mechanic confirmed that it was working fine when I brought it in.I'm sure my car did not have any issues beforehand and to make a few extra bucks the guy messed up my car.Please go to a good repair shop and do not try to save money as it will cost you more in the future.

Please read this before you go.If you love your car don't go there .Have you ever seen a mechanic who services the car without changing engine oil and the oil filter . I gave my car to service. Few hours later he called me and said everything is done come and pick up the car. I was happy and picked up my car. After I came home I checked my engine oil dipstick and I saw it was totally black. And my old oil filter was still there. He had not change the oil and the filter. I called him. He said he couldn't change the oil because the oil plug was too tight .not only that he had put a sticker on my car which says next service is due in 10000 kilometres or 6 months. Also in the invoice he mentioned that he changed the oil. Also when I called him he said if you want to change the oil leave your car for few days and it will cost more .please stop ripping off people's money .If I didn't check my oil dipstick I would never know that he didn't change the oil and the filter and I would drive more 10000 kilometers with dirty old engine oil. How many people have been ripped off by this guy? Also in the reporter says to change the transmission fluid and all the tyres. Then I checked my transmission fluid it was okay .he thought I didn't know anything about car stuff and he was trying to rip me off. Only one tyres is not good not all other 3 can run more than 20000 kilometres. This guys sells used and new tyres that is why he told me to replace all the tyres .

Have now gone here twice.First time the guy was super lovely, informative and professional. Price was a bit more than expected, but happy to pay for good work to be done.I called up recently and was quoted $300-$400 for the next job that was needed... Only to find out that the quote means nothing and it is actually $523... That's a lot more than quoted, the guy who called me then tried to get me to book in a service... Another $150 (only $109 if I take the offer) no payment plans makes this very difficult, ESPECIALY if you don't stick to your quotes or at least be close to it.

I went there with a Groupon voucher but didn't see all the bad reviews until after my service. If the mechanic did what he invoiced me for then I consider his service to be pretty good. He was friendly and professional about what needs work, and he was flexible about appointment times. My last service was sometime ago so I knew I am in for some extra expenses. What was quoted and invoiced to me weren't the cheapest around but certainly not too expensive. I got the following done on top of my Groupon service:* Drive belt (supplied & fitted) $121* Rear Left Number Plate Light Globe $8.80* Coolant $33* Air filter $46.75* Spark plugs (x4) $132* Rear brake pad set $165I went to Ringwood East station to get a coffee and check out the Saturday market for 2/3 of my service but when I came back to sit down and read in the workshop, I could see the mechanic doing work on my vehicle and he also showed me the worn out spark plug. My car did ran smoother after the service so all in all, I consider it to be a pretty good service.

Happy with the service itself. But after already organising to have my car picked up at 5pm (closing time) i got a phone call saying they were closing at 4:30 if i couldnt make it they were going to leave my car our the front eith my keys just behind the wheel!As unacceptable as this is i still got to the garage by 430 and they were already gone and there was my car sotting out the front with the keys! Very upsetting as the car i have worked very hard for! Could have just been taken because the team here wanted to knock off early.Very poor experience in the end.

The customer service is always top-notch, with an initial callback to report evaluations and confirm what recommended work you wish to go ahead with, before actual work is done swiftly, an alert sent out, and a final face-to-face debrief delivered upon pickup to better inform you of your vehicle's condition. This service has gone above and beyond expectations on multiple occasions, including staying open well past closing time to accommodate a last-minute appeal, plus offering to arrange a pickup for myself & bub after finding we were relying on public transport to return to the garage. I believe the experienced Cleijne crew genuinely strive to keep you on the road, offering only relevant alerts and advice. Highly recommended.

came in with a groupon voucher for a service, asked to replace shockers and brake pads on top of that. all went well, so far my Saab drives nice and smooth. I am happy with the service and the price. Hopefully nothing goes wrong later on, and I will be coming back to these guys. Thanks Joe!

There shouldn't be any star for this feedback at all.Just use the Groupon voucher $29 for the car service on last Monday. However the guy charged me extra $121 for the system reset in couple minutes, cos I have idea how it works just paid and hope everything is good but last Sunday on my Way to the airport the system warning and the yellow indicator appeared. So bad experience.I found another car service company just use 10 minutes to fix the problems and also reset the system again only cost $10. It's very easy to do the system reset and that should not be charged, so plz be aware of this tricky problem. Find a good service company and not just think they are cheaper, you must be pay more money than you expected.After all the guy who did the service for me through that's no problem and he have met some who did the service and just three hours later the warning alarm happened. To him that's the right thing. So ridiculous.
