Today my car broke down in front of this store. On the cobble stone on the side of the road before the entrance turning into the store. Nothing I can physically do to help that. I politely informed the ladies that work there the issue I had faced and a tow truck was coming to move the car. Instead of being kind towards the situation I have no control over she was a rude old cow. My mother, grandmother and sister in law all shop here so consistently and love the clothing. It’s a shame you couldn’t be more compassionate to someone who has an unfortunate problem OUT OF THEIR CONTROL! This has really frustrated me as a lot of my friends that shop here too have complained about the customer service. Not that you seem to even care after reading your responses to a lot of reviews but just so you know you have lost a lot of customers from this. Remember kindness can go a long way... we will be spending our money elsewhere. Thanks love x

I picked out a dress for my recent birthday. On arriving it was much shorter than anticipated, so we went to send it back, only to be told no credit notes or refunds would be offered. The dress was over $150, and where it could not be tried on as a virtual sale, it seems a bit rough to be stuck with an expensive dress I wont wear, and no opportunity to exchange. I understand when its a 'final sale' and heavily reduced, but this particular dress has been at the current price for ages. They claimed it was because they are a small business, but surely small businesses want to keep their customers happy! I certainly won't be buying from them again

Disgusted with this company. Purchased a dress and tried to return. They claim I wore it. I did not. Don't purchase from them - as they give you a lot of trouble when you try to return for credit. I snipped the label off and they said they wouldn't accept return because of that - now they claim it has been worn and smells of perfume - this is not the case. Unacceptable and I will never purchase from them again. You are an online store and MUST make it easier for people to return garments that don't suit them. Will be taking the matter further and update my review in accordance with the outcomeupdate: the tag was snipped off - you accused me of wearing the garment which is not true. will never shop with you again. I can see from other reviews - returns seem to be a nuisance for you

Buyer Beware!I had purchased a dress during the sale period, it arrived and was beautiful. However, the first time it was washed (by hand, in cold water, no products as it was for a small chocolate stain) and hung out to dry the colour ran, quite significantly.I contacted La Boheme quite concerned as I had followed all directions as per the tag, knowing how delicate a piece it was.La Boheme claimed I had washed it wrong and stated that because they had never had an issue with that dress is must be my fault. I explained that if it was washed wrong the whole dress would be ruined not just part. They were not willing to accept any responsibility.So basically if something is faulty but nothing has been faulty before it’s not faulty? No sense!I am still waiting on a response from them after a month.Less than poor customer service. Will be taking this further with ACCC.Please be careful when purchasing ladies! If anything goes wrong you will be blamed!

Can't talk highly enough of the staff. Very friendly and helpful. Nothing wasza problem and they went that extra mile for me. Nice to see there is still great Customer Care.Absolutely loved the range of clothes. Excellent quality and something different from other stores. Highly recommend and I'll be going back.

I was going to buy a dress from your on line store but looking at the many unhappy customers I definitely will not be purchasing anything from you.Maybe you need to review your staff and how they handle situations.Happy customers will return, and new potential customers may buy something if the reviews were much better.You should look at these reviews and be a bit kinder as kindness is the key for people to keep coming back.

I recently purchased a $450 dress. I took it home and it didn’t look okay as my body was changing with a growing bump. I checked the website to confirm the ‘return policy’ which stated 2 weeks. It was only when I went to exchange on day 13 (not even return) it to the store that I was informed that if you keep scrolling down the ‘in store return’ policy is different to the ‘return policy’ (which did not state it was the online one). I was so upset the return policy on the website was not specific and the small sign in the shop was not visible and far too hard to read (white writing on a fluorescent background). I emailed and was told they are “sorry I wasn’t happy with their policy and it’s my responsibility to check when purchasing” the policy itself wasn’t the problem it was the lack of clarity and flexibility. Sad to see small business don’t value their costumers the way us locals try to support them. I should have purchased directly from the brand like I had planned as this just backfired. I don’t make big purchases without checking the policy and this one is not clear. There was no printed receipt offered nor was it written anywhere on the emailed receipt and the staff seemed very confused also when I enquired upon wanting to return the item

On the handful of occasions I have visited this store from Newcastle of which is takes over 1 hour each way, I have on 2 occasions arrived home to find the security tag still attached. On the first occasion I called the store and was recommended I visit any local store that removes tags. I did not want to have to find a specific store that removes those tags and explain the situation I.e. that I did not steal the item, so I drove all the way back to Laboheme and home again - Totalling 4.5 hours of driving. The apology was also insincere...The second time was worse as I only had a small windows of time between the purchase, wedding one day and a trip overseas the next and wanted to take the dress on holidays.
