Pure Pie
Got a slice of carrot cake and some other sweets today. The carrot cake was over baked with a black crust. I can’t believe they thought it was ok to sell the carrot cake and make people pay for something that is completely inedible. Super disappointed.

After having a rough experience Christmas last year I finally decided to treat myself with one of your Pies for a solo V-Day experience at home. Great stuff :) Hope to try your Cherry Pie again though..

Walked in and out in less than 5 minutes because the displays/take home pies had visible mould growing. I think better hygiene is needed whether they were old or not stored properly.

All the sweets and savouries at Pure Pie are amazing. I am addicted and cant get enough! The lady of Asian heritage is so helpful and courteous. She hands me the receipt with both hands, so respectful. She is sweet. Thank you!

For $45 I was expecting an exceptional apple pie.Instead I have encountered the first apple pie in my entire life that I actually disliked and I've tried cheap homebrand apple pies. I'm not sure if they drowned it in alcohol or they've just added some bizarre ingredients but it tasted awful to both myself and my girlfriend.It looked nice at least.

Chicken mushroom and tarragon pie, very generous in size (almost too big to eat with hands) and with a lovely thick puff pastry crust. I had it with tomato sauce and a dash of hot tobasco. Yum!

I've been a loyal customer for many years. The quality is what makes me come back. But after couple of bad customer service experience, I won't be back.Last time, I bought a Family Pie and two small pastries at the Gaswork Farmers Market, Albert Park. (NB there is no price anywhere and no receipt provided). At the end of my shopping, suprised by the amount I paid, I went back to the lady, but with the worst attitude she responded - even before me asking anything - no this is correct 35+12+12

Unfortunately when I opened the package my scotch egg came in it was covered in little spots of mould and also smelt awful. It’s a shame because I was excited to try this place and everything looked great.

Really amazing pies!The pastry is buttery, crisp and flakey. Everything you want in a good pie pastry.The filling is generous and flavoursome and the side salads are always fresh.Definitely try the apple pies. Seriously amazing!
