Came to Fernwood from another gym due to wanting more support and a friendly environment. I can not recommend Fernwood enough, such amazing women who treat you so lovely and like it’s your second home. The staff are fantastic and nothing but friendly with a smile on their face all the time. This gym has made me love working out! You walk in the door and feel welcome and supported. The classes are fantastic and have such a good range.

Great gym. Lovely atmosphere. My favourite classes are box fit and body pump. Instructors are really encouraging and kind, not over the top. It's a fairly quiet gym as most people attend classes. I really enjoy attending

Absolutely love going to Fernwood Fitness at Marsden Park. I had joined another local gym and was there for about a year but never felt 100% comfortable going or even be willing to do anything but cardio. But making the switch to Fernwood Fitness has been the best decision ever! The staff are really friendly, the range of classes are great and it's quiet at night which is an extra help in gaining my confidence in going back to the gym!

If you like weight training I wouldn’t recommend this gym, great if you prefer classes though but I believe there are better gyms at a lower cost than Fernwood. I unfortunately joined this gym prior to it opening which I now regret, I wouldn’t have joined if I had of seen the gym first. I Still have 3 months left on my contract and haven’t used the facility in some time. Make sure you also read T&C - I am unable to workout at the moment but you can only cancel your membership if you are unable to workout for one year or pay the fee. Most of the staff are lovely, however there are some rude ones that don’t acknowledge you when you come in.

I've been with multiple fernwoods and gyms over the past 10 years and can day that marsden park is by far the most welcoming.Staff on reception are always welcoming and check how you are going. They have the latest machines and it is always spotless, The creche staff are amazing with children and the classes and PT are awesome.Great work and I love being apart of this gym. It is helping me meet my goals and I always feel comfortable and welcome

Facilities are good and clean. I had a 12month membership but due to health issues didn't go as often as I would have liked. Cancelled membership after term finished. Note once you cancel, you still need to pay for another month. Asked for an exception but nothing would change their mind. Gym contracts are the worst, just read t&C carefully as there's no way out. 30 day notice period is a total rip off and unnecessary
