Pawsome Place (Dog Grooming)

Concerning experience. First time as my usual groomer was unavailable. I took my 5 month old groodle in for a wash and groom. I was told it would take 1.5 hrs and he was in and out in under an hour, which I thought was unusually quick.I was told that he was very difficult to groom, they could not do much, and that next time they will need to sedate him.This was extremely concerning to me.A puppy or dog should only be sedated by a vet or vet nurse for a legitimate reason.I would not recommend this groomer and I won’t be taking my puppy back there.

We take Snow every six weeks for a wash/groom! Staff know her very nervous/anxious temperament and do their best to handle her patiently and carefully. She always looks, feels (and smells) beautiful after!

I brought my puppies in and they did nothing but wash the dogs and clipped two or three of their nails and that was that. My dogs were traumatized for a putrid job that apparent professionals did.

The ladies here are very skilled at grooming and especially with scissors trims for long haired breeds.

My senior sheltie has been going to Mel and the ladies for a while now and they take great care of him every time. Prices are reasonable and the staff are courteous and friendly. My dog always comes back smelling fresh, floofy and looking great.

I was told my puppy would take 1.5 hrs for a wash, dry, cut and nail clip. Within 10 minutes they texted me a photo of him fully shaved, even though I has asked for him not to be. I’ve taken my dogs to Hachi who did an amazing job. I won’t be sending my puppy here again. He was traumatised when we left and still is.

Really lovely groomers. It was my pups first haircut so we were both a bit nervous, but he was very well taken care of and looked beautiful coming out. Will definitely be returning.

On a good note , I was able to have a last minute appointment which was very much needed after a vacation and my pup being in desperate need of groom. But I believe they were overbooked as an hour and half latter my dog was only washed and had been standing on her own muzzled stressed on the grooming table for at least 15 min before I went in to enquire about it . I was told she was nervous dog and needed 2 people for her groom and that would take another hour or so . At this point she was clearly stressed and yelping with the groomers attending to other pets at the time . All the while she was left to wait and calm down " on her own . This was so upsetting to me at which point I came in to hold her still so the groomer could shave her body. They were clearly trying... But overbooked and hence leaving a puppy muzzled on grooming table for a length of time was not what I expected for the high price. It took another hour plus to groom my tiny puppy. For the high price I expected better service ."

Lovely staff, quick service, and happy dogs! I’m so impressed with the service here. I called to ask whether they could squeeze my dog in for a toe nail trim in the next few days, they not only saw him immediately but they provide this service for FREE! I was shocked. I’ll be back for a groom and some treats soon. The dogs getting their hair cut seemed happy and calm. Super lovely staff were wonderful with my little rescue mutt.

Bad experience. My pup was very well behaved and happy to be trimmed and have his nails cut prior to going here. It’s the only place he’s ever been professionally groomed and since going there he is terrified to have his feet touched or a pair of scissors go anywhere near him. He’s completely traumatised.They clearly don’t spend any time on positive reinforcement or care for the dogs well-being. It’s simply in and out as fast as possible. Especially considering how high the price is, it’s truly unacceptable.
