Stephen of This Beautiful Life Films has created a wonderful gift for our family in recording our father's interesting and varied life. Dad, at 92, is still quite the raconteur and Stephen had him talking about his life and his family with genuine depth and great ease. With his delightful demeanour and innate ability to put his subjects at ease, Stephen had Dad sounding natural and relaxed as he told some of his many life stories. He also asks interesting questions about the history and facts of a story being told, but also the thoughts and feelings of his subject, so we ended up with a very genuine and heartfelt film. The film quality, sound and photos relating to each step of the journey, make this a classy and treasured tribute to our darling Dad. It really is a unique and beautiful keepsake for our family.

We asked Stephen and his team to produce a video about my Mum's life and it was the best gift we have ever given her! They were able to capture her story, her spirit and her love for her family in such a moving way. My Mum found the whole experience easy and very enjoyable. She said it was the highlight of her year, and we now have a beautiful digital record of her life stories that the family will treasure forever.

Stephen Briggs created an amazing documentary about my father. It captured his life perfectly. My father shared stories our family were still learning about and it has bought us together to talk more about his life and learn about his childhood years. It was a wonderful opportunity for him to reflect on his children and grandchildren and share memorable words to us all. It has created closer bonding sharing his life story and started new beginnings that he reflected during this process.Stephen’s product is unbelievable, my family were so pleased with the result. My daughter commissioned Stephen Briggs to interview and film my recollections. Stephen was well prepared. His interview notes covered major events and interesting family activities. The interview and filming was relaxed, and not just sitting and talking, but also out and about to provide relevant settings. Stephen created a great video combining his filming and recording with historic still photos. The result is a well edited video which we enjoy as it has captured memories which otherwise would have been forgotten and lost.

My father-in-law had his life story created through This Beautiful Life and we couldn't speak more highly of the process, care and joy that Stephen showed. The finished product is incredibly moving and special and one we can use to help my father-in-law celebrate birthdays and special events. It is also something special that when we are all gone, future generations can meet and learn about the special man he is. It is something we will do with other family members. A virtual diary full of love and laughter that will be cherished forever.

This is a wonderful gift for your family.As a person who does not even like having a birthday party my initial response was to decline this opportunity. Being filmed for This Beautiful Life was a fascinating experience. It's not often one gets to talk about oneself at such length - and in front of a camera. Being the possessor of a dreadful memory I was amazed at my recall when being put, as it were, on the spot. We had two long filming sessions; Stephen's interviewing technique was excellent - empathetic, probing, but never intrusive. He made the whole process extremely easy. This Beautiful Life is a great concept. We all have a story to tell and this is an ideal way to tell it.

My wife Mel and I connected and felt completely comfortable with Stephen. It was so important for Mel to leave our family with stories of her life and words of advise for our young girls. I can not thank you enough! You made yourself available at a drop of hat when time was so precious and now we have these beautiful videos ❤️
