Young Discoverers Highland Reserve

I’ve got 2 currently in young discoverers full time. My boys love going and that’s a sign of all the great work they do and the caring teachers they have. I also have an older son who went through their preschool program and I was blown away at how well they got him school ready. I can’t thank them enough for how supported I feel sending my babies there or how accomodating they have been with my work days.

Such a fun & friendly environment! The educators are always so caring.

My daughter went here after being to two different centres (she’s now school age). I couldn’t be more happy that we found this place, the staff are amazing and treated us like family. My daughter was ready for school thanks to the support and education she received. Many thanks to all at YDHR

Maybe remind parents there are plenty of parking spaces to choose from, and NOT park in the disabled parking spot, when they have no approved or any visable disability sticker on their wind screen. Just be considerate

Definitely not happy. My son was at the same daycare since he was 6 weeks old (now 2 1/2 years of age). We recently moved to the area and this seemed the best daycare for us and it seemed to go good! Up until today. I walked in and asked how my son has been going for general feedback. The educator disclosed in an open room with family members and other educators that my son may need to be assessed and he 'just crys', he hits and can't settle. I felt completely violated of our privacy and felt if this discussion was going to be said in an open setting I would have preferred to me in closed/quiet family room for this type of discussion.I received no call from the daycare of any sort to check in or follow up an 'incident if reported' Only a response to my exit email and 'wish you well'.Mortified and disappointed of how this situation was handled.

One of the hardest things as a parent is to trust others with the care of your precious children, and YD earn this trust every time. They genuinely care - it’s not just a job, and they actively provide creative stimulation and activities to educate and bring out the best in children, not babysit.

My son recently started at this centre and the staff have been amazing! I don't usually write reviews but this is by far the best centre I've experienced. The educators are well trained, always happy to assist where they can and provide a supportive learning environment. My son has a condition and they have gone above and beyond in supporting him. What I love most about this centre is the educators / carers are always happy and smiling and my son comes home happy too!

Young Discovers Highland reserve is the best childcare centre we have come across during our sons early years. it’s so rare to find a not for profit centre these days so that In itself is a bonus, the number of kids in the centre is half that of the big corporate run centres so you can really notice the bond the educators establish with the children and their families.The staff don’t often chop and change like my sons previous centre and the pre prep (kindergarten) programme is well established and taught by an amazing teacher with great communication. Thanks to everyone there for making my sons last year of early childhood education such an amazing one ❤️

Awesome kindy, they go above and beyond to help you and your children. My girls love playing there and love their teachers. Its nice to know they are learning and growing in a wonderful environment. I highly recomend sending your children their.

This place is wonderful! Very well organized and secure. My daughter and I love it! Highly recommended!
