Dry-Creek Wetlands

A great walking and biking trail. You would hardly believe you're only a short distance from Adelaide CBD (20 minutes by car). Feels like you're in the middle of country South Australia). The creek is usually dry during summer but when flowing, it looks the nicest. There are some historical old buildings and structures to be found dating back to the 1800s. Some nice native wildlife to be seen, but keep a lookout for snakes during the warmer months.Would give it a 5 star rating but the nearby Yatala Labour Prison and Adelaide's Women's Prison are a blight to an otherwise scenic route. Be careful of lowlifes that occasionally use this trail to surreptitiously attempt to throw contraband to their incarcerated friends/family in one of the previously mentioned prisons.

Nice relaxing walk, in the middle of the burbs. And great if you enjoy meeting dogs. Always a gorgeous walk.

My first walk along here today. Just beautiful. Walk took twice as long as I kept stopping to take photos.

Always nice for a walk along Dry Creek but especially when its wet. A local historical treasure. Enjoy a stroll with plenty of bird life.Cheers.

A great trail to cycle...a bit hilly to test you.

Great place to walk, run, bike. Just watch out for snakes in the warmer months. The little building area smells pretty bad and heaps of flies. Otherwise love it
