We bought our mower from Shortcut quite a few years ago now, and it has always been looked after there. The service from Wayne and the staff has always been at the highest level. They pick up and deliver (for a fee), and always respond very quickly to our cries for help when something goes wrong. Really impressive local business.

Absolutely dreadful service extremely rude sign out front says service and repair any chainsaw.I took my chainsaw in just to see if they could spare 5 mins to see if they can start it thinking it might just be a spark plug. They would only look at it for a $99 fee and then said but they still can’t fix my brand. What a joke and you have no manners or people skills. I went to stihl in totness and they were excellent.

I previously wrote a negative review of this company, but I believe that the owner is now trying harder to provide friendly, helpful customer service, and a smile now and then. He obviously takes criticism seriously and wants to do better, so let's give him a chance to prove I was wrong about him.

Poor customer service. I specifically rang and spoke to staff member to make sure they had the Honda engine part in stock before I made the 1.5hr return trip. They assured me over the phone they had the part, but when I arrived in store they didn't have the part. Then to stuff me around even more they sent me to another business up the road that doesn't even stock Honda parts. Bloody annoyed and will never go there again.

Went to spend a few grand on a saw as stihl had nothing comparable....got a saw but my father in law didn't like being told we didn't need a bigger bar for where we lived when we tried to purchase it ...he had not been to our property therefore had not seen our 120 year old pine trees so wasn't in a place to make that assumption...but happy with saw and extras we bought with it

Usually can have chain saw blade sharpened within 3 or 4 days. They send a handy text when your chains are ready for pickup. Improved courteous service. The shop though could do with some welcome lighting, rather than just lighting the products hanging on the walls as it feels very dim when entering.Management have interest in customer feedback which is a breath of fresh air, in my experience suggestions often fall on deaf ears with the many large chains in businesses these days.Thanks for listening guys!

Trying to purchase a mower was a minefield. I just needed, simple, effective and do what I needed. I did my homework. Short Cut Mowers were brilliant. The mower they recommended fit my brief and price-range. Thankfully, they were knowledgeable & very helpful. They loaded into my car a ready-to-mow machine into my car (complete with oil & fuel). I am extremely happy with the mower and will happily return when it is ready for service. Exceptional Hill Service. Highly recommend!
