A great spot to get to during the off season. Take your camera and hiking shoes and you are ready. The views from the top are stunning. We'll worth the drive up. Highly recommend.

A steep walk uphill from the carpark gives stunning 360° views from the top of Mt Buller. It is steep and rocky and walking shoes are essential, especially if it's at all wet. You will definitely be puffed by the time you get to the top, around 15 minutes or so at a reasonable pace. Be careful coming down as it's much easier to slip than on the way up! Views are definitely worth it! Fire observation point is also up their so in summer it's usually occupied. Excellent Telstra mobile coverage over the whole mountain if you get into trouble.

Took the summit loop 4km walk from here, great track with interesting fact boards along its length. Snow gums are plentiful and present many photo opportunities. Reaching the summit is fairly steep but has good footing and worth the effort as the view is quite rewarding.
