Ball Hill Walking Track
A nice walk with points of interest to see. Starting on Church/Reef Street the loop walk is around 4km in distance. For the most part the track is clearly visible and easy to follow with small single post signs guiding you along the way. Follow the track along the side of Prince Alfred Hill to the remains of Cappell's battery site. Continue down to Hill End creek to cross over and walk up to Bald Hill mine along part of the original Bridle Track. Toilets located here. From the mine you go down the stairs and cross over Hill End creek and walk along the creek for a short distance before making your way back up the hill to your starting point.

Ball Hill Walking Track
Short but interesting walk through some of Hill End's historical points of interest. Combination of graded tracks and open paths, well signed posted. Information boards help provide background to this interesting abandoned mining town.
