Historic Arnott Bakehouse
What fantastic experience I had at the Sourdough class with Steve and Allie! I was expecting a generalised cooking class, but this was a blend of history, science, cooking and laughter. I can't wait to get baking and just hope that I can keep my little bit of Arnott's (sourdough culture) alive! Highly recommend this class!

Old boutique hotel on the Main Street. Good rooms and hot showers. Clean, good price, easy 24 hour access, central, old school feel.Good communication.Very friendly with a homey vibe.Thanks for an awesome stay

Difficult to rate. It was shut, but the external appearance did not inspire confidence. The roof was rusty and the signage in the windows was old and not impressive

Menu was scattered with items that made it sound like the chef had forgotten to do the shopping that week, while others like Pigs ear and Bone marrow that I could of just gone to PetBarn to cheaply purchase if I was ever sick enough to want to eat

If you want to stay at a fancy 5 star hotel then go there #BORING. If you want to stay an a beautiful old boutique hotel in the centre of a beautiful town rich in history then this is the place. Love this place and it’s story.And the bread is a traditional sourdough to (saturdays only) if you stay and like sweets the Portuguese tart is amazing!!!!!!!

A wonderful stay at The Historic Arnott’s Bakehouse. Allie and Steve are the perfect hosts and made our weekend relaxing and comfortable. We ordered bread from Morpeth Sourdough - baguette, scrolls, olive sourdough ciabatta, white sourdough, Portuguese tarts. All extremely delicious. We spent a lot of the time on the generous verandah overlooking the Main Street - the perfect location for conviviality. All the rooms were charming, the beds comfortable, the bathrooms clean and modern.
