I organised a measure with these guys which happened back in November. They were quick to come out and measure and the young fella was great. I was told I would have quote by Xmas but that was ok. No I have emailed and rung several times since asking for quote and keep getting told they are working on it today. I even said just let me know if you can't do it I will go elsewhere. 3 months later now still no sign of quote. I've been patient but this is ridiculous, I didn't think it was that hard.

We are so pleased with the fence that DGF did - it is a colorbond with 200 by 300mm concrete footing. They used really long posts to give it a lot of stability and strength from wind and the whole firm was a delight to deal with. ps we liked it so much that we ended up extending the fence on the property - highly recommended

Do not use this company.Dog Gone Fencing did a terrible job replacing the fence at my rental property. The fence palings were rough and uneven. All 3 gates were hung crooked. There were large gaps under the fence in places. One fence corner post was not even put into the ground. Generally, the fence was poorly built and looked like rubbish.Dog Gone Fencing avoided answering calls and emails. They claimed to have inspected the fence and rectified the shortcomings, but did neither. I was only able to get Dog Gone Fencing to fix some defects after taking them to the Queensland Building & Construction Commission (QBCC).

On 2 separate occasions we have had site inspections with a promise of a quote to follow. The first time a quote wasn’t supplied at all, and the second time a quote was supplied for the incorrect fence type. When we asked them to rectify, we were promised they would amend and resubmit the quote, however nothing has been submitted weeks later. Extremely disappointing to be messed around so much over 25m of residential fencing in South Mackay. If they weren’t interested in the job, we would have appreciated if they had rejected the opportunity to quote rather than leave us hanging.

Took a day's leave for 1:30pm appointment today for a quote. It's another no show. Won't be dealing with this cowboy outfit again.

Excellent job for a great price. Fence was damaged after car ran through it. We engaged Dog Gone Fencing to do the work as they have done work for us before and they didn't disappoint. Great service and good communication. Highly recommend

What a joke! Organized a quote and response was within a good time frame. Still waiting on quote 3 months later. Talking to friends and relatives about my experience and found out that I have a relative who is waiting 2 years and a co-worker who waited 9 months before they got a ridiculous price. This type of service seems to be prevalent in Mackay!

Can't rate these guys highly enough. Recieved cyclone damage to fence quickest to quote and price was better than others. Great service Cheers
