There was no pressure to purchase a vehicle and they gave me plenty of time to take the van for a run and measure up inside for my future use. I have been searching for a particular vehicle for a while. I’ve narrowed down the search results and contacted Taren Point motor group before I drove out there to see if they were open for the public holiday today. The gentleman advised that they were. Upon arrival he took us to where the car was parked and let us see it. The car was filthy. The advertisement says it was “immaculate”. Regardless, I was still happy to keep looking at it. It had a scratch that went right through the paintwork. I know I’m looking at a used vehicle, but for him to say that he will “buff it out”, I am highly sceptical of. I was still interested and kept looking at the car. I then asked for a test drive and the gentleman said he couldn’t take it out as he is alone at the dealership today and it will take “forever” to move the cars about to remove this one. To say I was unhappy is an understatement. I drove from an hour away, to basically waste my time. I then had another hours drive home. At the very least when I called him and asked about the vehicle I was interested in, he could have told me he was alone at the dealership and couldn’t take it out for a test drive so that I was prepared. I work full time and am not going to waste my time to drive back on the weekend to test drive the car again. Very bad service.

Bought a Toyota Alphard 2021 Model. Car was in immaculate condition. The staff at Taren point motors was so helpful, friendly, spent time with us and gave us an amazing buying experience with the car. Would highly recommend for anyone looking to buy a car, especially imported cars.

I have purchased five or six vans from the team at Taren Point at their various yards over the years. A Mitsubishi Van, Nissans, and a couple of VWs - some purchases have been great - one, the car was built on a Friday, and it must have been late in the day. Stuff happens - but we sorted that! Small yards have issues - Owners work hard to appease everybody. Taren Point actually has a car that I want, but my wife thinks otherwise.I was down there today, I watched some youngsters haggling with the Dealer - 'demanding' a better deal, the ego's talking with their friend's listening. It made me think, do we want good service and reliable vehicles or .... Cheap and cheerful... five metres and no service?Taren Point motors do try hard - if they had some more credible staff, they might do even better. The Owner tells me so few salesmen care any more ... Taren Point Motors actually do try... and the service has been good for my purchases...
