Absolutely outstanding. Qwerky old building with an Awesome host. Grant is a brilliant storyteller so you Must have your meals at the common table or else you'll miss out on his recollections. Recommend you make a point of staying here at least one night on your way through.

Good B&B, Love the fireplace, clean shower and room. Like the detail touch to the bedroom decoration. Great hospitality, hosts are very helpful and friendly. Definitely will come back again.

We stayed at the Royal Arms during a weekend trip to the snow fields. We looked for accommodation closer, but it was extremely expensive and/or booked out.The Royal Arms is warm, quirky guest house with plenty of character. It was fantastic to rest our exhausted bodies in front of a warm fire in the evening. Di, our host, was welcoming, friendly and gracious. Breakfast in the morning was a highlight, with freshly made coffee, cooked breakfast, and fascinating stories of the local area.

Sundowner Cafe is amazing. Friendly service, delicious food and coffee was fantastic. We had scones and ham/cheese bagel and could not fault either dish. Even the water they serve is delicious.

The Royal Arms B&B was like a home away from home. It was warm and cosy with a very comfy bed and ensuite and a lovely coffee and hot breakfast in the morning. The Walkers were so welcoming and helpful throughout my stay - I am looking forward to my next visit already.

We had such a wonderful time here, the rooms were cozy with a fireplace and extra little heaters to keep warm. Plenty of blankets and quilts, and a very comfy bed. The Royal Arms has a wonderful collection of books and they encourage guests to read and look at as many as they desire. The hosts are wonderfully hospitable with lots of local and regional knowledge, many stories to tell, and are very happy to take the time to share with you.We were warmly welcomed and felt like we were visiting friends. Prices are incredibly reasonable. We would stay again at the drop of a hat. Highly recommend taking a break from paying the Monaro dues and stopping off here, rather than blowing through.

The Royal Arms Nimmitabel. Having driven past countless times what a fine discovery. It’s absolutely everything one seeks from an accommodation experience and unfortunately is rarely provided. The generous hosts provide the ambience and the period setting the spirit.
