Fixed an air conditioning problem that another mechanic had failed to fix. Showed me on the car what part was causing the problem and gave me a quote before doing the repair so I felt very well informed about the issue and more confident that they would be able to help where others had failed. The final bill matched the quote I was given and my AC is cold again.

These guys were totally amazing. The air conditioning in my car stopped working in the middle of Summer and Northern Rivers Auto Electrical fit me in as soon as they opened on Monday morning after the weekend and had my car all fixed by the next afternoon so I could get back on the road to complete my journey from Brisbane to Sydney with three crazy kids in air conditioned comfort. They even fixed a wiring problem with a cigarette lighter in my car and gave me a bunch of fuses for free after I had already paid.The guy who was talking to me on the phone didn’t give me much comfort that the job could be done on time but just be patient and wait for the main guy to get back to you. He’s like Bob the Builder. Yes He Can.

Booked for getting some electrical things done on my 10t bus (made sure it was ok for them to look at something like that beforehand), things like replacing the horn, have a look at the dashboard, have a look at lights etc…Got charged for the 1h they took to look at it at the end of the day after an entire day with it and the one light bulb they changed.Couldn’t figure out how to change more light bulb, told me that to access the horn they had to lift the bus up, same to access a pump for the windshield wipers fluid and couldn’t help at all with the dashboard.Got back home realised that they didn’t bother looking for the horn as it was right under the front bumper and did pretty much all the repairs myself… don’t waste my time and money if your aren’t qualified or knowledgeable and say before I book that you can’t help or if you do take the time to actually look for the things you need to repair.

Dropped my car off and left it there all day to fix the tangled wiring for the window in the passenger side door. Never took a look at it, sat in the same spot all day and gave me a ballpark figure of how much it will cost to fix and wanted me to bring it back. Took it to someone else and they fixed it in an hour and charged me half of what these guys wanted to charge me.

I only have high praise for Northern Rivers Auto Electrical, Jared assisted me greatly with the electrical upgrades I needed (and the ones I didn’t need also!) saving me money in the process.A professional job done and excellent customer service, a great process from start to finish

Honest and very helpful. These guys have gone out of their way to make sure our electrics were working as they should, even fixing mistakes from other mechanics. Highly recommend
