Veolia Spring Farm Public Drop-Off

So I have some ewaste to drop off at this site (which is free since they want to encourage you to recycle it). I see that Google maps says that the site is temporarily closed". I checked the website and could see no mention of this

We went last week and was told still closed. We are all cleaning up from the floods. Where are we supposed to put all this rubbish?Better communication would be good.

Need to update opening hours for Easter, took trailer only to find it's closed to public until normal operating hours on Tuesday. Not hard people.

I visited a completely empty Suez Spring Farm and was intimidated in wearing a face mask when the NSW law clearly states wearing a face-mask outside is only a recommendation, and not mandatory. I also have an exemption but they didn’t even ask. To be clear, this place is acres and acres of land and it is not a public place - human traffic is what constitutes a public place. Three people were extremely rude to me, and two attempted to intimidate me. I reported this and called back a few days later to be told I was in the wrong, and that the horrible behaviour of the staff was justified as it’s Suez policy to wear a face-mask. Well, okay, I guess that’s general Suez policy then, because the law clearly states in regard to Covid, that wearing a face-mask outside in not mandatory. Management has refused to do anything about the attitude and intimidation tactics I was at the end of. Avoid at all costs. These people deny NSW law, basic science, intimidate their customers and talks to them like they’re dogs. I’ve made one other complaint in my whole life but this takes the cake and will be taking it further.

Wouldve been good to know that they were closed during these Easter holidays. We followed their times on their website saying it was open" however we got there and it was closed. There were several other vehicles piled up at the site as they thought it was open.Please update your times on the website around public holidays...."

This closure is not good. This is the only tipping area for the entire MacArthur area including Campbelltown and Camden. A simple sign at the gate letting people know you are not open to public would suffice. The person at the weighbridge commented that its on the website. Most people do not check a website each time they visit a business. Then only to be told to travel to there next open site at Eastern creek which will be a 3 hour round trip from here. Not a happy camper with this lot.

Website said they were open Easter Saturday, so drove there with a trailer load. Gates open but told at weighbridge by staff that they were closed to public till Tuesday. Not happy with this.Return trip now on Tuesday, so extra petrol adds to their expensive drop off prices. No wonder there is so much illegal dumping.UPDATE YOUR WEBSITE TO REFLECT YOUR OPENING TIMES OVER HOLIDAYS PLEASE!!

Best tip ever. Our local tip for over 30 years and ALWAYS the best customer service. Who'd have thought it... at a tip. Love going there, love leaving with an empty trailer and a smile.
