Such a great experience. Haven't had my hair cut by anyone in over 10 years and this was a special time for me as I was donating my hair. He is amazing at what he does!

Jon James is the most professional businessman and he really loves what he does. The best hair stylist I have been too. When I am back in Mt Isa he will be the first on my list to call. Great work! Very passionate.

Master Jon is the greatest!! he has done my children's hair since they were born and is just amazing!! He has been doing my husband and my hair for 4- 5 years now and we wouldn't go anywhere else.Jon has this amazing personality that makes you feel right at home straight away and brightens your day from the get go. Amazing experience, every time. The staff are so friendly, I really enjoy the chat as much as I enjoy my new hairstyle. I always ask for foils, and the colour and tone is just perfect. The salon is in a great location in town, close to coffee shops and boutique stores, and beautifully set out. I always walk away with genuine self-confidence, which is priceless.

Jon is a great bloke and knows his stuff when it comes to hair. He is often booked out well in advance because he is so popular. He works wonders with coloured hair but can do the basics too. He is the only one in town that I will trust to cut my beard and hair

You never just go to Shut Up and Cut to get any kind of service to your hair, you go for the whole experience!! You always get an extremely vibrant welcome, meet and have cuddles with the boss (Jon's dog Jay Jay), a completely honest and open chat on whatever the day brings and of course an amazing cut and great colour. I don't have the easiest hair to work with and Jon never disappoints. My children are always welcome and are given the same kind of service as I do.

His skills in Cutting/Colouring & Styling Hair is what you would expect from a 5 Star ⭐️ Salon ❤️ He is very Professional & the end product is just absolutely Amazing. I highly recommend Jon he is just one of a kind. He is the ONLY person who can cut my 3yr olds hair perfectly & his patience is just astounding. One thing I love with his haircuts for all my boys is they all last Months & any other Hairdresser I have been to only last around 6-8 weeks.
