The sales Allan Wilson from Gerald Slaven is fantastic, I contacted him first through the phone and he answered all my questions about the current Ranger and the Next-Gen Ranger, then he set up the test drive for me. The next day, he assisted the whole time for the test drive and quote the price for 2021 XLT and 2021 WildTrak. We were happy to make the down payment for the sable Wildtrak that is already in the dealership inventory, and only took Alllan one day to get the plate and paper work ready. We picked up our new Ranger WildTrak two days after we tested drive, it’s one of the best car buying experience ever.Overall, we are very pleased with Allan’s service and his efficiency. I will purchase again from Allan and Gerald Slaven Ford.

On having a flat battery, I called the NRMA. They checked it and said it was Ok and advised getting it checked out. Gerald Slaven kept the car for over a week before I collected it. They said the Reverse Camera was causing the excessive discharge. On driving the car away I noticed a warning icon display on the front dash, something that had happened during their diagnosis. On querying this they advised seeing an Auto Electrician. I was somewhat disappointed as I thought a VW Service Dealer would be able to deal with the electronic warnings. On getting the Reverse Camera checked by their agent this was not the problem. It was reconnected. There was no discharge issue. Gerald Slaven were still adamant that this was the reason. I was disappointed that they would not accept this and take responsibility for giving me a car with a clean bill of health.

Received my car for service after I towed it to them. Misdiagnosed the issue causing the stall as fuel contamination. Returned the car to me with little to no fuel after emptying the tank. Charged me $780. Stall is still happening and they have no clue unless a yellow error light is visible. Was told by service manager to tow car again and they might find the error or they might not. Either way it's an extra charge as they believe their initial finding of fuel contamination was correct. Apparently this issue is a new one. I beg to disagree and have no choice but to take this fight to fair trading.In summary, by a VW at your own risk!Reply to VW:You very conveniently left out that Steve Cave admitted that unless a fault light was present, the team would have the same difficulty they had last time I left the car with you. Save the back and forth for Fair Trading, champ.

Here at Gerald Slaven VW, these workers know what they’re doing. Absolutely lovely people. Very experienced and do have a lot of knowledge to help you understand your car and their needs! They seem to get busy but will always book your car in when you need most. Wish I wasn’t moving states because this is the first dealership I actually have the most trust in.

Cannot recommend this dealership more! I bought my first car (an Astra) from them 4 years ago and have just traded it in on a new VW T-Roc that is seriously amazing! I got a really fair trade-in valuation that made it pointless to mess about and try and sell it privately and a really good deal on the new T-Roc.Everyone I dealt with was super helpful and treated me with so much respect even though I'm quite young. Noah, the salesman, Dallas the manager were absolutely incredible and their customer service is some of the best I've had during my search for a new car and hats off to Shabbir in the finance department who not only got my loan approved super fast with a rate that I couldn't even believe but also organised me an insurance way cheaper and with a lower excess then anywhere else I could find on my own!If you’re in the market for a new car, Gerald Slaven Volkswagen and their amazing team are the people to see!!!!
